The year's highlight was the'Tandango" with Dons and Donettes dancing to tuneful Rhythms. In Forsensics the Gavel furnished the usual high quality of Debating excellence. On the field soccer, tennis and golf held sway. With option system prevailing, soph prexy Edward Moran staged a "soph drag" Sine Quod non, while the second- yearmen ever consistent lost the "brawl" in which as fresh men they had been soundly trounced. Bob Moore led the now mature juniors into the lime light of student endeavour, for on the platform Charles Scully took the Y.M.I. Oratorical Medal while classmate Edward Heavey was adjudged the best speaker of those in the McKinley Debate. It was at Devonshire that one and all beheld a "prom" the like of which never was witnessed before. Orders for "senior years" came thick and fast as the last days of the third came to a close. Charles Scully was elected to lead the class of '37 in its final year which while it was part of many successes and accomplishments still suffered immeasurable loss by the deaths of Roy O'Farrell and Bob Moore, two who had served most ably and most well until their fatal days. In the McKinley Debate again the honors went to the class of '37 with Charles Scully best speaker. [13] Seniors JOSEPH LEO BROYER Unrestricted; Block Club 4; PAUL A.
