Seeing Jesus – (Matthew 6:33)

How did you see Jesus at work in His Kingdom this week? 

o Vs 4 is encouraging because it shows how determined God Text(s): Isaiah 42:1-9 is to accomplish His promises through His Son Jesus. But  Discuss things that discourage you – keep in mind your Christian still that word, “Justice.” What do you think God is saying by faith; gossip is a sin! using that word so often?

 Vs 9 indicates that God, through Isaiah, is declaring “new things” to  Why do you think people get discouraged? His people and is telling them to us before they come to pass. What might the old things be and what are the new things?

 What are some things that encourage you?

 Vs 3, and 7 explain much more clearly what God’s justice, as He declares these “new things,” “before they spring forth,” looks like. After hearing this, does it change your mind about how God’s justice  Why do they encourage you? is defined?

Digging Deeper  Vs. 4 says that God’s “servant” (vs 1) “will not grow faint or be  How are you encouraged by the justice of God through Jesus? discouraged.” Who is this servant that Isaiah is promising/prophesying about? Why will he not grow faint or be discouraged?
