Directions from M1

At Junction 29 of the M1 motorway follow the A617 signposted Chesterfield. Follow the dual carriageway for 5miles and at a large roundabout go directly across and bear left to another roundabout, taking the left hand exit signposted A619 to Bakewell and Chatsworth House. Stay on this road for approximately 8 miles and at a large roundabout bear left again, following signs to Bakewell, still following the A619. At the next roundabout, in approximately ½ mile, take the left exit, the A619, and then shortly afterwards turn right, still on the A619, again signposted Bakewell. In about 1 ½ miles turn right onto the A6020 signposted Buxton.

Carry straight across the small roundabout still on the A6020, turn right into Ashford village signposted Wardlow/Monsal Head B6465 (Cricket pitch on your left). Turn right at the village shop (Ibbotsons of Ashford) to Monsal head/Wardlow. 1/3rd mile out of the village at the first small crossroads turn right onto Longstone Lane. The barns are the first buildings on your right on Longstone Lane.

Directions from Buxton

From Buxton follow the A6 until you reach Ashford in the Water. Turn left on the A6020 and then turn left again into Ashford village signposted Wardlow/Monsal Head B6465 (Cricket pitch on your right). Turn right at the village shop (Ibbotsons of Ashford) to Monsal head/Wardlow. 1/3rd mile out of the village at the first small crossroads turn right onto Longstone Lane. The barns are the first buildings on your right on Longstone Lane.
