A Chicago institution since 1957, Old Town School of Folk Music provides a wide range of music, dance, theater, and visual arts courses to people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Additionally, the School The School presents performances by internationally known touring artists, the best of local artists and its sta and students in an exciting series of more than 300 concerts and Field Trips annually. School partners choose from our roster of more than 20 music and dance oerings, which include a culminating event or nal presentation. Partner schools must be willing to provide storage space for instruments or supplies, adequate space for the chosen art form, and planning meetings with participating teachers, artists and coordinators. Assemblies And The Old Town School of Folk Music oers a wide array of entertainment for any Performance / Performances At occasion by talented, professional artists. Choose from art forms as diverse as Workshop Your School African music and dance, Bluegrass and Old Time music, Irish/Celtic, Middle Eastern, Rock and Roll, Flamenco music and dance, OR request a customized performance to supplement your school's programs or curricular units. Field Trips Take your students to a trip at the Old Town School of Folk Music, where artists Field Trip present music and dance from around the world!
