Asian Pacific Summer Carillon Recitals American Heritage Listen to sweet bell music from the traditional carillon instrument Family Day, housed in the tower of Rush Rhees Library. The annual Hopeman Memorial Recital Series begins Monday, July 11 and continues May 22, Memorial for the next three Mondays on the Eastman Quadrangle. Each program will begin at 7 p.m., rain or shine, and last about an Art Gallery hour. Carillonneurs touring from around the country will stop in Rochester to perform popular musical compositions written specifically for the carillon, and following the concert, attendees will be able to meet each performer on the library steps.
