This CAFR includes the District's Basic Financial Statements in accordance with Governmental Accounting Standards Board Statement 34. Responsibility for both the accuracy of the data and completeness and fairness of the presentation, including all disclosures, rests with the management of the Board of Education (Board). To the best of our knowledge and belief, the data presented in this report is accurate in all material respects and is reported in a manner designed to present fairly the financial position and results of operations of the various funds and account groups of the District. Located in northern Passaic County New Jersey, the township is less than fifteen minutes from the Route 23/Rt 287 corridor, approximately 40 miles west of New York City and is in close proximity to the academic communities of Montclair State University, William Paterson University, Ramapo College, and several community colleges.
