Shobha, Smt. Rajasree Datta, and Sri Vinod. Ms Bindhu B Nair and Ms. Shany Joy attended ‘Awakened Citizen Programme at Bhavans Adarsha Vidyalaya,Kakkanad. Ms. Sushi P was the Resource Person for CBSE Capacity Building Programme on ‘Inclusion and Inclusive Strategies ’at Chinmaya Vidyalaya Kannamaly. All the teachers from the Department of English attended a workshop on Experiential Learning by Ms.Gayatri Khanna at Bhavans Vidya Mandir ,Girinagar. Vice Principal Ms. Latha S was the resource person for PRP in PYTHON language for Computer Science at Bhavan’s Adarsha Vidyalaya Kakkanad. Ms. Shany Joy from the Department of English attended the two day PRP Training Programme on English Language and Literature at Bhavans Varuna Vidyalaya. Smt. Lily Abhraham and Smt .Juby and the students of Scouts and Guides attended a one day Patrol Leaders Camp at RLV School, Tripunithura. Smt. Letha S and Smt. Sreeja of Department of Chemistry attended a workshop on ‘Physical Chemistry’ by Dr. Ananthapadmanabhan and ‘Chemistry without Chemicals’, by Dr.Susmita at Vidyodaya School, Thevakkal. Smt. Reshma of the Department of Computer Science attended a workshop on ‘Future Readiness and Skills for Success in the 4th Industrial Age ’organized by Planetedu at Hotel Marriot, Kochi. Ms. Veena V of Department of Physical Education attended Khelo India, a School Fitness Programme at Shantinikethan Public School, Irinjalakuda. Vice Principal Smt Latha S was the resource person for CBP in PYTHON language for computer science in Sarvodaya Central Vidyalaya, Trivandrum. Principal Smt. Sujatha R Nambiar attended the All Kerala Principals’ Workshop at BhavansVidya Mandir ,Elamakkara. Smt. Lilly Abhraham and Smt Juby T J attended Guides Seminar at DHQ Padivattom. Principal Smt. Minnu K Joy Head of the Department Of Maths, Smt.Mini M ,Head of the Department Of English And Smt Hamily, Head of the Department of Social Science attended a workshop on Experiential learning by Sapna Sanhkla at Bhavan’s Adarsha Vidyalaya , Kakkanad. As a part of the follow up activity of Hub of Learning, a workshop on ‘Digital Lesson Plan was conducted.25 teachers from five schools attended the session. Our teachers Smt.Sreeja of the Department of Chemistry, Smt. Indira of the Department of Physics, and Smt. Anita of the Department of Computer Science were the resource persons. Hands on training for all the teachers who attended the workshop. It was followed by subject wise discussions. The School Councilor Smt Vidhu Varghese attended a workshop on ‘Mentoring for Children’ at Vidyodaya School, Thevakkal. Smt. Sinimol P, Head of the Department of Biology attended the Mathrubhumi Seed Club Meeting to plan the activities of the club for the year at Renewal Center Ernakulam. Mr. Hareendranath, Head of the Department of Physical Education attended a Capacity Building Programme on Khelo India Fitness Assessment at Peevees Public School, Nilamboor. Smt.Lilly Abhraham of the Department of Physical Education attended the Advanced Training Course for Guides Captains’ held at STC Palode from 23rd July to 29th July. Smt.Jalaja T R and Smt. Sindhu V participated in a one day Economics workshop for Post Graduate Teachers of CBSE schools at ToC-H Public School, Vyttila. Ms. Veena V of Department of Physical Education attended the Capacity Building Programme on ‘Health and Physical Education’ by Shri Hareendranath and Shri. Sreenivas at Bhavans Varuna Vidyalaya ,Kakkanad Smt.Deepa Mol Baby of Department of Physical Education attended ‘National Level Master Trainer’ Training Programme at Girideepam Bethany Central School Vadavathoor, Kottayam. Mr. Hareendranath ,Head of the Department of Physical Education was the Resource Person for the Capacity Building Programme on ‘Health and Physical Education’ held at St Gregorious , Chenganoor Smt. DeepaMol Baby of the Department of Physical Education participated in the One Day Workshop on Kids’ Athletics, jointly organized by Kerala State Athletics Association and Trissur District Sports Council held at V K N Menon Indoor Stadium, Trissur. Reshma Raju of the Department of Computer Science and a group of 18 students, attended a workshop on Design Thinking and IOT (Internet Of Things) at TCS, InfoPark,Kochi. Smt. Latha S, Vice Principal represented COE Trivandrum in the Master Trainers career counselling conducted by COE, New Delhi. Smt .Nirmala V K and Smt. Jalaja T R of the Department of Commerce attended a workshop on Business Studies held at YMCA Palarivattom. Smt .Sujatha R Nambiar ,Principal attended a session on Road and Traffic Safety awareness organised for all the heads of the educational institutions in the district ,at IMA hall Kaloor. Smt. Savitri P D of the Department of Malayalam, Ms. Veena V of the Department of Physical Education, Sri Krishnakumar of the Department of English and Five students of Std VIII attended the Safe School Mission Kerala Camp at Najath Public School Kalamaserry. Sri Hareendranath K of the Department of Physical Education was the resource person for the Khelo India Training programme organised for the Physical Education teachers at Assisi Vidyanikethan Public School, Kakkanad. Sri Hareendranath K of the Department of Physical Education was the resource person for the National Level Training at Marygiri English Medium School, Sreekandapuram. Smt Savitri P D of the Department of Malayalam bagged the Kunnattu Nadu Yogyashemasabha Sahitya Puraskaram. A session on ‘Child sexual abuse’ was organised for the primary teachers. The resource person was Ms Janaki Sankar. Smt Sreeja Sreedhar of the Department of Chemistry attended the CBSE Workshop on Remodelled Assessment Structure for classes IX and X at Chinmaya Vidyalaya Vadutala. Mr. Hareendranath of the Department of Physical Education was the resource person for Khelo India Training programme held at Thodupuzha. Ms. Sunitha and Smt.Indira from the Department of Physics attended a workshop Based on AAPT research at Vidyodaya Thevakkal. Smt. Sinimol and Smt. Meera Venugopal from the department of Biology attended a workshop on Biotechnology by Kerala State Council for Science and Technology. Smt. Reshma from the Department of Computer Science attended a Prospective Resource Persons Workshop on AL by Intel, sponsored by CBSE at Toch Public School Vytilla. Smt. Alice and Smt Seena from the Department of work experience attended one-day workshop at Jeeva CMI School Aluva. The Principal, Vice Principal and around 20 teachers attended a talk on ‘Space Technology–for Advancing Education and Serving Humanity’ by Dr.G.Madhavan Nair,Former Chairman, ISRO at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Auditorium ,T D Road. A training programme “Prakrithi Nalla Paddom" was organised in the school by PTA for the Nature Club students of Std 8th to 10. One of the most experienced resource personnel of Government of Kerala, Mr. Venugopal Panicker, State Faculty for Kerala Government & Faculty for Shuchithva Mission & Haritha Kerala Mission, was the resource person. Smt.Indira from the Department of Physics and Smt Vidhu V, the school counsellor, along with the students of Std XI attended a CPR Training at CIAL Convention Centre, Nedumbassery, Kochi. Smt. Savitri P D from the Department of Malayalam, Anita Aby from the Department of Computer Science along with students of XI attended a talk at Sri Ramakrishna Ashram. The Principal Smt. Sujatha R Nambiar attended the Conference for Principals of Bhavan’s Secondary and Sr. SecondarySchools at Bhavan’s International Residential Public School, Bhimavaram from 19th November to 22nd November. Design thinking workshop was arranged in the school for the students of Std VIII. Mr. Sreenath, HR, TCS was the resource person for the session. Smt. Nirmala V K from the Department of Commerce, Smt. Hamily, Smt. Geeta S Prabhu, Smt. Bini K S, Smt.Asha K Nair and Smt.Ramya from the Department of Social Science, Smt.Mini M, Smt.Meera Raveendran,Smt.Mari Sini and Smt Rejitha S Varma from the Department of English attended a workshop on Theatrical Skills -The efficacious tutoring protocol’ at Bhavans College of Arts and Science ,Kakkanad. Smt. Suja Karthika was the Resource Person. Smt .Sreekala K P, Head of the Department of Malayalam, attended a workshop organised by Madhubun at Hotel Yuvarani,Ernakulam. It’s my proud entitlement to place before this well thought of gathering our 31st school Annual Report. I compliment my dedicated team of teachers and non-teaching staff whose boundless enthusiasm & bolstered eagerness embrace all activities and have kept our institution in the forefront consistently. The following are the perfect forays we have tracked in both scholastic and co-scholastic spheres. ACADEMICS Pursuit of excellence with sincerity & perseverance is what we strive for. Academic excellence merited high positions by students in the AISSE & AISSCE circuits. Our students secured 100% results in the X and XII streams. Aiswarya Ramesh was the Fourth in the list of National Toppers and the school topper with 495 out of 500. Of 146 students who registered for the AISSE, 15 secured A1, 130 secured distinction and 16 students got first class. 63 students Secured A1 in English, 10 in Malayalam, Sanskrit and Hindi, 41 in Mathematics, 51 in Science 67 in Social Science and 1 in FIT. Of 111 students who appeared for the AISSCE, 13 students bagged A1 in all subjects, 86 secured distinction and 25 scored first class. Darsana R topped with 494 out of 500 in the Humanities stream and positioned as the State Third and National Sixth in the Toppers list.

CBSE awards Certificate of Merit in each subject to the top 0.1% of the successful candidates in the AISSCE examination every year.     Winners of Vikram Sarabhai Spot Assessment Test were felicitated. Students from our school participated in FRESCO- an inter school cultural competition organized by Rajagiri Christu Jayanthi Public School, Kakkanad and brought laurels. Adithya B Y was adjudged the best artist with first prize in drawing competition. Avaneeth S, Gouri S Dev, Adeeth Manoj bagged second prize for the same event in different categories. The team from our school won the third prize in short film making. Gurupoornima Day was celebrated to express our respect and gratitude for teachers. The Annual Report is the showcase of the glorious achievements of any institution. Here we present the annual Report of The Delta Study which highlights the great milestones achieved during the year 2018-19. Academics / Co-curricular Activities: The academic year commenced on 3rd June for classes KG, I to X and XII, 10th June 2019 for Class XI. President, Mr. A.I. Kurian addressed the staff of the school on the Founder’s Day. The school scored good results both in AISSCE and AISSE. During the 43rd Founder’s Day Celebration, the 27th edition of school magazine “HARMONY” was released. Prizes were also presented to the AISSCE and AISSE toppers and Proficiency winners of the other classes. Centum in Physical Education and Sociology were scored by our students for Class XII AISSCE 2019.
