PAOLO BORDOGNA BARITONE One of the most acclaimed artists worldwide for lyric baritone and bass-baritone roles in Rossini, Mozart and the belcanto repertoire. He studied with Roberto Coviello, Katia Ricciarelli and Bianca Maria Casoni at the In- ternational Academy of Desenzano and Alberto Zedda at the Accadamia Rossiniana in Pesaro. Winner of the Caruso Prize and the Bastianini Prize in 2006. Since 2005, Rossini Opera Festival consecrated him as one of the leading interpreters and absolute references of the Pesaro composer. Paolo Bordogna has been guest at ROF singing leading roles in many operas such as La gazzetta, La cambiale di matrimo- nio, La gazza ladra, La scala di seta, Le Nozze di Teti e Peleo, La Cenerentola, Matilde di Shabran, L’occasione fa il ladro, Il barbiere di Siviglia, La pietra del paragone. Since his debut he has performed throughout the worlds great opera houses including Teatro alla Scala, l’Opéra National de Paris, the Wiener Staatsoper, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden of London, Teatro Real of Madrid, Liceu de Barcelona, Washing- ton National Opera, Houston Grand Opera, Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Bayerische Staatsoper, Palau de les Arts of Valencia, Sydney Opera House, NCPA in Beijing, Staatsoper Hamburg, the Accademia Nazionale of Santa Cecilia, the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Teatro San Carlo of Napoli, Teatro dell ‘Opera in Rome, Teatro Regio in Turin.
