Chris joined VFS Global in 2011 as Regional Head for Europe and the Americas, following which he was appointed Chief Operating Officer for Europe and the Americas. Prior to VFS Global, Chris spent nearly 30 years as a career diplomat with the UK’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office. His last government assignment was as the UK Border Agency’s Regional Director for South Asia (2007 – 2011). She is also Visiting Professor at the College of Europe (Bruges), where she teaches Justice and Home Affairs; and a Fellow of the Centre of European Law of King's College London; the EU Asylum Law Coordinator of the Refugee Law Initiative of the University of London; Co-Chair of The Refugee Law Observatory; Co-convener of the Society of Legal Scholars (SLS) Migration Law Section; and member of the Steering Committee of the Migration Law Network.
