24° International Tournament “Città Di Sassari” (FSFWGR) Juniors 24° International Tournament “Città di Sassari” (F.S. F.W. G.R) Juniors Memorial Matteo Pellicone Sassari (ITA) May 23 - 2019 REGULATION 1. General Provisions. 24° International Tournament “Città di Sassari” Juniors (FS – FW - GR) Memorial Matteo Pellicone, will be organized by Polisportiva Athlon Sassari and Italian Wrestling Federation (FIJLKAM). 2. Date and place of competition. Competitions will be held from 23 May, 2019. Place: Palasport Comunale "PalaSerradimigni", Piazzale Segni, Sassari, Italy Date of arrival: May 22 2019 Date of departure: May 24 2019 3. Participation. Nations invited to take part in the competition: all National Federations affiliated to the UWW. 4. Formalities for Clubs Admission Countries can participate with more than one club; each club will be marked by a letter ( Ex: Italy A - Italy B) but clubs will not be admitted to nation’s ranking. Each club must provide to support its own costs of accommodation and meals. 5. Technical conditions. Competitions will take place in accordance with the Rules of the International Association of Associated Wrestling Styles - United World Wrestling, in Classes and Weights: Junior (F.S. F.W. G.R) Juniors Men FS. 57-61-65-70-74-79-86-92-97-125 kg. Tolerance 2 kg allowed. Men GR. 55-60-63-67-72-77-82-87-97-130 kg. Tolerance 2 kg allowed. Women FW .50-53-55-57-59-62-65-68-72- 76 kg. Tolerance 2 kg allowed. 6. Refereeing Referees of International category are admitted to officiate the competition. All the referees called for the meeting must show the valid United World Wrestling licence for the year 2019 1/3 2/3 7. Financial conditions The travel expenses of delegations to the place of competition and its departure will be born by the sending National Federations. Hotel fares: €uro 90,00 per person, per night (full board); Room types: double, triple, quadruple. For a single room there is a surcharge of € 15 for person for day (limited quantities, only upon reservation until exhaustion). Important: Junior athlets can participate in the senior competition, the entries must be sent to the Organizing Committee or Italian Wrestling Federation (FIJLKAM) through Athena system in a separated entries. 8. Logistic Organization The organization will take care of the following services: - Reception and seeing off the delegations in Sassari; - Meals and accommodation in a hotel (4 stars) in Stintino resort - Sassari on 22/23/24 May 2019 - Local transport on the arrival & departure days of participants, training and cultural program. Transfers by private buses from Fertilia Airport (Alghero - AHO) to the hotel and return are included for all the delegations that will communicate their date and time of arrival and departure (at schedule time for free shuttle service, point 11 of this subsection). Location: The Hotels are situated in Stintino, Sassari area, at a distance of 500 meters from the equipped beach. Hotel facilities: restaurant, bar, swimming pool, gymnasium (in order to carry on trainings before the wrestling competition it will be supplied with a math and a weighing scale) In conformity with international federations: All delegations are gently asked to schedule rigorously with anticipation their arrival and departure dates as well as the program of their staying at the Hotel in Stintino, ( Sassari area ): Arrival to Sassari : not earlier than May 22, 2019 Departure from Sassari : within May 24, 2019 9. Awarding. Prize for the athlets: 1° Gold Medal - Diploma; 2° Silver Medal - Diploma; 3° Bronze Medal - Diploma; Teams ranking. The National teams ranking is determinated using the UWW regulation. 10. Admission. The entries must be sent to the Organizing Committee or Italian Wrestling Federation (FIJLKAM) through Athena system. If Junior athlets wants to participate in the senior competition, the entries must be sent to the Organizing Committee or Italian Wrestling Federation (FIJLKAM) through Athena system in a separated entries. 11) Organization: Logistics and Transfers: The organization offers a free transfer service bound to a time table, in order to guarantee a precise and efficient service, the use of the free tranfers arranged by the organization must be booked in advance both incoming and outgoing, in case of non-reservation this service will not be guaranteed. Arrival of delegations at Alghero airport, transfer to the Hotel Cala Rosa Stintino is guaranteed free of charge by the organization according to a precise timetable. 3/3 No. 4 free transfers will be available, exclusively at the following times: • Morning: 9:00 ; 11:00 • Afternoon: 15:00 ; 17:00. Departure of delegations from Hotel Cala Rosa Stintino for Alghero airport transfer is guaranteed free of charge by the organization according to a precise timetable. No. 4 free transfers will be available, exclusively at the following times: • Morning: 8:00 ; 11:00 • Afternoon: 15:30 ; 18:00 NB: all delegations composed of executives, Team Leaders, Officials, Technicians and Athletes, who decide not to take advantage of the free transfers at established time by the organization, both incoming and outgoing, as described above, may provide by themselves and at their own expenses for transport, using any alternative transport (local Public transport Service, Taxi, car rental etc.). 12. Visa Passport: To get the visas, each delegation has to provide the Italian embassy in its own country the formal invitation of the international meeting, stating clearly all the names of their members. N.B.     COMUNI DELL’ANGLONA E GALLURA CHE ABBRACCIANO LA BASSA VALLE DEL COGHINAS VALLEDORIA Valledoria (fino al 1960 Codaruina , Codaruìna in gallurese e sassarese ) è un comune di 4.125 abitanti della provincia di Sassari , nell'antica regione dell' Anglona . Il paese si affaccia sul Golfo dell' Asinara , nei pressi della foce del fiume Coghinas . Il paese sorge sul sito dell’antico borgo romano di Codes , da cui deriva appellativo Codaruina . Nel medioevo fu sede della Diocesi di Ampurias , distrutta ripetutamente dai pirati barbari. Appartenuta al Giudicato di Torres e passato alla famiglia genovese dei Doria , dopo la conquista aragonese , la valle del Coghinas fu colpita da epidemie catastrofiche (secolo XV) che portarono allo spopolamento di queste terre. La ripresa demografica si ebbe, come del resto in tutta la bassa gallura , verso la metà dell’ Ottocento , grazie all’afflusso di famiglie galluresi da Aggius e Tempio Pausania che occuparono le vaste pianure deserte e fertilissime, dando vita all'insediamento di Codaruina, oggi Valledoria centro. Nel 1960 Codaruina si rese comune autonomo con il nome di Valledoria comprendendo le frazioni di La Muddizza, La Ciaccia, San Pietro, Baia Verde e Maragnani, il cui territorio era compreso nei comuni di Sedini e Castelsardo . Nel 1983 si è staccata la frazione di Santa Maria Coghinas divenuta comune autonomo. SANTA MARIA COGHINAS Santa Maria Coghinas (Cuzina in gallurese , Santa Maria Cutzinas in sardo ) è un comune di 1.439 abitanti della provincia di Sassari Il centro abitato sorge nella regione storica dell'Anglona , sulla riva occidentale del fiume Coghinas e ai piedi delle colline che delimitano la fertilissima valle alluvionale con una media di 2 m s.l.m.

V.: The discovery of the Sardinian Flora (XVIII-XIX Centuries). — Bocconea 19: 7-31. 2006. — ISSN 1120-4060. The history of the floristic exploration of Sardinia mainly centres round the works of G.G. Moris, who in the first half of the XIX century described most of the floristic patrimony of the island. But it is important to know the steps he took in his census, the areas he explored, his publications, motivations and conditions under which he wrote the "Stirpium sardoarum elenchus" and the three volumes of "Flora sardoa", a work moreover which he left incomplete. Merit is due to Moris for bringing the attention of many collectors, florists and taxonomists to the Flora of the Island, individuals who in his foot-steps helped to complete and update the floristic inventory of the island. Research into the history of our knowledge of the Sardinian Flora relies heavily on the analysis of botanical publications, but many other sources (non- botanical texts, chronicles of the period, correspondence) also furnish important information. Finally, the names, dates and collection localities indicated on the specimens preserved in the most important herbaria were fundamental in reconstructing the itineraries of the sites Moris visited. All these sources allowed us to clarify several aspects of the expeditions, floristic col- lections and results of his studies. The "discovery phase" of Sardinian Flora can be considered over by the end of the XIX century with the publication of the "Compendium" by Barbey (1884-1885) and "Flora d'Italia" by Fiori & Paoletti (1896-1908).
