Cryptogamie,Mycologie,2005, 26 (3): 205-263 ©2005 Adac.Tous droits réservés Taxinomie,écologie et chorologie des espèces françaises des genres Hypotrachyna et Parmelinopsis (Ascomycota lichénisés,Parmeliaceae) Didier MASSON 386, rue des Flamboyants,F-40600 Biscarrosse,France [email protected] Résumé – L’étude sur le terrain et en herbiers des lichens français et européens apparte- nant aux deux genres Hypotrachyna et Parmelinopsis montre que la France continentale héberge la totalité des 12 espèces européennes. Hypotrachyna lividescens est signalé pour la première fois dans l’hémisphère nord, Hypotrachyna rockii et Parmelinopsis afrorevoluta pour la première fois en France,ce dernier taxon également nouvellement signalé en Allemagne et au Portugal. La présence de Parmelinopsis minarum en Italie est confirmée et Hypotrachyna pseudosinuosa est nouvellement mentionné à La Réunion (océan Indien). Outre une clé de détermination de l’ensemble des espèces,sont données pour chaque espèce une description, une photographie,la liste des métabolites secondaires présents,la répartition et l’écologie. Parmelinopsis afrorevoluta et Hypotrachyna revoluta sont les taxons les plus communs, H. rockii le plus rare.La présence de cils à la marge des lobes et le degré de ramification des rhizines en tant que critères permettant la distinction entre les deux genres sont discutés à partir des espèces étudiées.Le statut générique problématique de Hypotrachyna britannica et H. revoluta est souligné. En raison de l’affinité océanique marquée de l’ensemble des espèces,ce sont le Massif armoricain et le Sud-Ouest qui sont les secteurs géographiques les plus riches,tant qualitativement que quantitativement. Wildlife Sites Guidance Wales A Guide to Develop Local Wildlife Systems in Wales Wildlife Sites Guidance Wales A Guide to Develop Local Wildlife Systems in Wales Foreword The Welsh Assembly Government’s Environment Strategy for Wales, published in May 2006, pays tribute to the intrinsic value of biodiversity – ‘the variety of life on earth’. The Strategy acknowledges the role biodiversity plays, not only in many natural processes, but also in the direct and indirect economic, social, aesthetic, cultural and spiritual benefits that we derive from it. The Strategy also acknowledges that pressures brought about by our own actions and by other factors, such as climate change, have resulted in damage to the biodiversity of Wales and calls for a halt to this loss and for the implementation of measures to bring about a recovery. Local Wildlife Sites provide essential support between and around our internationally and nationally designated nature sites and thus aid our efforts to build a more resilient network for nature in Wales. The Wildlife Sites Guidance derives from the shared knowledge and experience of people and organisations throughout Wales and beyond and provides a common point of reference for the most effective selection of Local Wildlife Sites. Colour The colour of upper (and if visible the lower) surface can be variable between wet and dry states. Shrubby (fruticose): thallus often tufted; composed of narrow cylindrical, or flattened strap-shaped Fruits on Ochrolechia tartarea branches. Crustose: thallus is a crust that may be thin, thick, smooth, wrinkled, powdery, granular or cracked like dried mud. Crustose species are adpressed (closely pressed) to the substrate. Some species have concentric growth rings at the margin. LICHENS OF ATLANTIC Features that may be present on the upper surface Cilia: wiry black hairs on the upper surface or lobe margins. WOODLANDS Fruits: sexual reproductive structures that produce spores. They can be round discs, pimple-like or globular. Greene2 In response to the recently published North Carolina lichen checklist (Perlmutter 2005), a few errors were noticed and many citings of literature reports documenting additional taxa have been brought to our attention. Therefore, corrections to these errors and a supplemental checklist are here presented to clarify the checklist and make it more complete. An additional 128 lichen taxa are here reported for the state (Table 1) with two removed as not occurring in North America, bringing the total to 731.
