Fairy Trail: Come visit the fairy village along the Swiss Cottage Walk in the picturesque town of Cahir. Nestled among the new and old trees and wood carvings are the beautiful little fairy doors created by local children. With easy access from Cahir Castle Car Park, there is a tarmac pathway along the way to the Swiss Cottage so it is pram & wheelchair friendly.

Equestrian Centre: Cahir Located in the beautiful countryside of Cahir, just 2km outside the heritage town Cahir, this family-run centre provides wonderful experiences for novices to more adventurous riders both young and old. Richard Mulcahy Park: Clonmel Situated on the outskirts of Clonmel town, Mulcahy Park has lots to offer. There is a large section of the Blueway along the to stretch your legs or for younger legs to ride their scooter or bike. It offers two playgrounds, with one of them being a sensory playground ideal for those with special needs. The car park is situated next to the Park and a public toilet is available.

Denis Burke Park: Clonmel The Park is situated on the southern side of Clonmel Town along the River Suir. There is an enclosed playground within the beautiful historic Park. An amphitheatre has been dug into a natural embankment. See if you can find the ‘secret’ path. Seating and Picnic areas are also scattered around the Idyllic Park.

Marlfield Lake: Clonmel Marlfield lake is a beautiful man-made lake teeming with wildlife. Just a 5-minute drive from the hotel & close to St. Patrick’s Well it’s an ideal place to relax and observe the wildlife and maybe even feed the ducks.

The Greenway: Starting in Dungarvan The Greenway, also known locally as the Déise Greenway is a Rail trail in , it is used for cycling and hiking. It opened in March 2017, on what was originally the Mallow/Waterford railway line, and forms part of EuroVelo 1 route. The Waterford Greenway runs in both directions from the city of Waterford and runs for 46km through gentle green countryside to the coastal town of Dungarvan. This is an approximate 40 minutes from the hotel, and an ideal location to hire a bike & enjoy the fresh costal air.

St Patrick’s Well: Clonmel This picturesque site is located a short distance from the hotel. It is an old religious site situated in a sheltered glen where a large volume of spring water continuously wells up from underground. The church was built in the seventeenth century, but there are traces of an even older building. Inside the walls is the tomb of Nicholas White of Clonmel who died in 1622. At the centre of the small lake is a weathered Celtic Cross which dates from early Christian times in Ireland.
