Nouveau record concernant le nombre de participants, ce sont 16 pays qui convoitent le titre, la Yougoslavie, l’Espagne et la Finlande se joignant aux pays déjà présents en 1960. La Belgique fait à nouveau confiance à son interprète de 1959, Bob Benny, tout comme en 1956, 1958 et 1960 ils avaient choisi Fud Leclerc. Le bilinguisme de ce pays ne semble pas lui avoir posé trop de problème puisque dès 1957 leurs chansons seront les années paires en Français, les années impaires en Flamand et ce jusqu’à ce qu’un système de relégation ne vienne gripper cette mécanique bien huilée, sans toutefois remettre en cause l’alternance.

  • Mer Informasjon Om Alle De Nye Sangene
    Amigo Teksten og musikken er skrevet av den chilenske folkemusikk-gruppa ”Illapu”. Den norske teksten er skrevet av Hector Merilles. ”Illapu” spilte inn melodien på albumet ”Raza Brava” som kom ut i 1977. Gruppa har gitt ut mer enn 25 album mellom 1972 og 2016, og de ble fort svært populære i Chile. De måtte flykte fra landet og bodde i eksil i Frankerike og Mexico i perioden 1981-1988 under Pinochet-regime. Albumet ”En Estos Dias” fra 1993 vant 7 platina-priser. Den ene dagen Teksten er skrevet av Inger Hagerup (1905-1985) og melodien er av visesangeren Finn Kalvik. Melodien er fra albumet ”Bjerke/Hagerup/Kalvik” som kom ut i 2007, hvor Kalvik setter melodi til dikt av forfatterne Andre Bjerke (1918-1985) og Inger Hagerup. Kalvik var en av frontfigurene i den norske visebølgen på 70-tallet og har gitt ut hele 29 album mellom 1971 og 2017. Kviskre ei bønn Originalteksten er skrevet av den svensk-italienske sangeren og komponisten Mauro Scocco og musikken er skrevet av Peter Hallström. Den norske oversettelsen er av Maria Haukaas Mittet. Mittet spilte inn melodien sammen med “Oslo Soul Children” og ga den ut på “Albumet “Lys imot mørketida” i 2011. Haukaas Mittet har vært å se i en rekke TV-programmer og vant bl.a. den Norske Melodi Grand Prix-finalen i 2008 med melodien “Hold on be strong”. Sommer Tekst og musikk er skrevet av Knut Lothe og Henning Kemp. Melodien ble gitt ut på albumet “Skumle tøfler” som kom ut i 2012 med gruppa “Plopp”. Dette er ei gruppe som har sitt utspring fra Norges musikkhøyskole og har spesialisert seg på musikk for barn.

    1 The TENORSAX of KRISTIAN BERGHEIM Solographer: Jan Evensmo Last update: June 21, 2016 2 Born: Stabekk, Bærum, Norway, June 6, 1926 Died: Stabekk, Bærum, Norway, May 30, 2010 Introduction: When I grew up in Oslo Jazz Circle, Kristian Bergheim was a well known tenorsax ‘name’, but he was not that easy to hear, going back and forth between Norway, Sweden and England. Only too late did I discover what was going on in the numerous jam sessions… History: Member of bigband led by Stein Lorentzen winter 1944/45, with Arne Klette's orchestra at Tjøme summer 1945, Hein Paulsen's orchestra in Åsgårdstrand summer 1946, later with Hans Backe's bigband, jobs with Rowland Greenberg, Ivar Wefring and own bands. Professional musician from 1948, worked with Sven Sjøholm in Gøteborg early summer 1948, with Peanuts Holland in Dec. 1949. In early 50s worked mostly in dance bands but also in various concert bands organized by impressario Lasse Gerlyng 1950-54 ("Norsk Jazzelite", also in Copenhagen 1950, ensemble "Ny Norsk Jazz" 1953-54). Played with Terje Kjær and Rowland Greenberg's orchestras 1952, Kjell Johansen's eksperimental band 1953. Several times voted as Norway's best tenorsax player. Played with Kenneth Fagerlund's orchestra in Gothenburg 1954-55. Played with Pete Brown's groups in Norway 1955-56 and Malte Johnson's orchestra in Gothenburg 1956. Quit music temporarily for textile studies in England 1956-57, however soon back as professional musician. Played with Pete Brown, Per Nyhaug and Kjell Karlsen's orchestras 1958-59. Led restaurant band with wife Anita Thallaug in the early 1960s.

Music is fundamental to Europe’s culture. It enriches people’s lives and contributes significantly to our economies. This is a pivotal moment for music. Consumption is exploding. Fans are listening to more music than ever before. Consumers have unprecedented opportunities to access the music they love, whenever and wherever they want to do so. But the future is jeopardised by a substantial “value gap” caused by user upload services such as Google’s YouTube that are unfairly siphoning value away from the music community and its artists and songwriters. This situation is not just harming today’s recording artists and songwriters. It threatens the survival of the next generation of creators too, and the viability and the diversity of their work. The value gap undermines the rights and revenues of those who create, invest in and own music, and distorts the market place. This is because, while music consumption is at record highs, user upload services are misusing “safe harbour” exemptions. These protections were put in place two decades ago to help develop nascent digital start-ups, but today are being misapplied to corporations that distribute and monetise our works. Right now there is a unique opportunity for Europe’s leaders to address the value gap.
