From Tc3 to Tcr New Touring Car Series Gets Green Light 5 December 2014 FROM TC3 TO TCR NEW TOURING CAR SERIES GETS GREEN LIGHT The FIA World Motor Sports Council, meeting in Qatar, has approved the new global Touring Car series proposed for 2015, formerly known as the TC3 International Series. To coincide with the announcement, the promoter WSC Ltd, has decided to change the name of the series to TCR International Series and has also announced that Marcello Lotti has been appointed as CEO of the company. Marcello Lotti explained the reasons for the name change: “The name TC3 has been chosen to introduce the technical concept of a global Touring Car category, based on production cars, that was affordable to private teams and drivers and inspired by the existing GT3 concept. “We have decided on the change of name of the series to TCR that will create a strong and personal identity for the new series. In addition, the name change will avoid any potential confusion with other Touring Car championships and series that might suggest pre-arranged hierarchies.” The TCR International Series website URL will be www.tcr-series.com while Facebook and Twitter accounts will also reflect the change of name. The TCR International Series will visit twelve countries over three continents during its inaugural season. 2015 Calendar 29 March Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia 12 April Shanghai International Circuit, China 3 May Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo, Spain 10 May Autódromo Internacional Algarve (Portimão), Portugal 24 May Autodromo di Monza, Italy 31 May Salzburgring, Austria 21 June Sochi Autodrom, Russia 26 July Autódromo Juan y Oscar Gálvez (Buenos Aires), Argentina 9 August Autódromo Internacional Codegua, Chile 20 September Marina Bay Street Circuit, Singapore 25 October Buriram International Circuit, Thailand 22 November TBA TCR International Series 6 Dyers’ Building London EC1N 2JT, UK www.tcr-series.com .

ACES WILD ACES WILD The Story of the British Grand Prix THE STORY OF THE Peter Miller Motor racing is one of the most 10. 3. BRITISH GRAND PRIX exacting and dangerous sports in the world today. And Grand Prix racing for Formula 1 single-seater cars is the RIX GREATS toughest of them all. The ultimate ambition of every racing driver since 1950, when the com petition was first introduced, has been to be crowned as 'World Cham pion'. In this, his fourth book, author Peter Miller looks into the back ground of just one of the annual qualifying rounds-the British Grand Prix-which go to make up the elusive title. Although by no means the oldest motor race on the English sporting calendar, the British Grand Prix has become recognised as an epic and invariably dramatic event, since its inception at Silverstone, Northants, on October 2nd, 1948. Since gaining World Championship status in May, 1950 — it was in fact the very first event in the Drivers' Championships of the W orld-this race has captured the interest not only of racing enthusiasts, LOONS but also of the man in the street. It has been said that the supreme test of the courage, skill and virtuosity of a Grand Prix driver is to w in the Monaco Grand Prix through the narrow streets of Monte Carlo and the German Grand Prix at the notorious Nürburgring. Both of these gruelling circuits cer tainly stretch a driver's reflexes to the limit and the winner of these classic events is assured of his rightful place in racing history.

  • Yokohama Rubber's Support for Motor Sports in 2014
March 4, 2014 Contact: For immediate release Corporate Communications Dept. Phone: 81-3-5400-4531 Fax: 81-3-5400-4570 Yokohama Rubber’s Support for Motor Sports in 2014 Tokyo – The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., announced today its plans for supporting motor sports events in 2014. Support for motor sports in Japan and overseas is a key element in the improvement and development of tire technology, globalization of the Company’s tire business and helps to raise recognition of the YOKOHAMA tire brand. In addition, participation in motor sports events enables the Company to contribute not only to the motor sports scene but also to the growth, development and revitalization of the automobile industry as a whole. YOKOHAMA looks forward to participating in many events this year. A brief summary of the main events follows. ■ FIA World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) YOKOHAMA has been the FIA WTCC’s official tire supplier since 2006. Since 2010, the Company has supplied the WTCC with its YOKOHAMA ADVAN racing tires, which use the Company’s proprietary orange oil compounding technology to enhance environmental performance while maintaining superior grip performance. Following a contract extension last year, YOKOHAMA is pleased that it will be supplying tires to the WTCC opening race (2013) WTCC through 2015, which will be our relationship’s 10th consecutive year. In 2014, new regulations for the racing cars have led to the introduction of a new car classification, TC1. Cars in this class will feature greater engine power and larger aerodynamic parts, increasing their speed. As a result, TC1 cars will use 18-inch tires with larger widths as well as inner and outer diameters than the previous norm, 17-inch tires, which will be used on TC2 class cars, which are built to previous specifications.

Page 2 Contents Foreword 3 Netherlands 5 Belgium 44 Germany 78 Austria 133 Luxembourg & Switzerland 148 Copyright © Rob Semmeling 2009-2016 / all rights reserved www.wegcircuits.nl Rennen! Races! Vitesse! Page 3 Foreword Motorsport essentially consists of three ingredients. First, you need a motor vehicle - which can be anything from a Formula 1 car to a lawn mower, or from a MotoGP motorcycle to a pocket bike. Second, you need a driver or rider to operate the vehicle, and finally, a place to go racing - a circuit. To most people this last ingredient is probably the least interesting. The number of books about famous racing drivers and cars, or great riders and their motorcycles, is far larger than the number of books about racing circuits. However, to me circuits are the most interesting aspect of motorsport, for two main reasons. First is their great diversity: in terms of shape, layout, length, difficulty, fame and many other factors, every circuit is different, and each has its own story to tell. Second, it is fascinating to see just how many circuits there are. Once you start looking, you can find them just about any- where. Finding lost circuits or discovering long-forgotten tracks is one of the most fun aspects of researching racing circuits. When looking for information about racing circuits online, I often found it frustrating that the available sources were not complete, and that they often lacked detail and accuracy. This is one of the reasons why I started my website www.wegcircuits.nl and why I made Rennen! Races! Vitesse! - a downloadable pdf-file that lists racing circuits of past and present in four European countries: the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Austria.

This basic principle of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup guarantees a fair competition at the highest sporting level, thus offering the best preconditions for a thrilling competition. Our Team • Ebimotors, the first official Porsche Motorsport organization in Italy, was founded in 1998. It is the expression of Enrico Borghi’s technical and managerial skills, developed in several world championships, Formula 1, offshore competitions and ultimately in the Porsche scene. The synergy with the Stuttgart manufacturer allowed Ebimotors to obtain remarkable results both nationally and internationally, such as participation in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, in the FIA GT Championship and in the Carrera Cup Italia since 2007, which culminated with five consecutive victories from 2008 to 2012. • The new headquarters of Ebimotors was inaugurated in 2006. It is a modern structure, divided in two independent departments: one is a Porsche Assistance Centre for road cars, consistent with the criteria and standards required by the Stuttgart; the other is exclusively dedicated to Motorsport.
