The Cass City High School athletic program officially end- ed Thursday night at the annual all-sports banquet held at the tf high school gym. The event was highlighted by the presentation of the Paul Smarks award to John Smentek and Tony Davis by Athletic Director Robert Stickle. Before the presentation, members of the golf, baseball and track teams were awarded letters and recognized for ach- ievements. The award won by Smentek and Davis is for participation in all sports, scholarship and leadership qualities. It is grant- ed to the Senior judged to have been the leader in these cate- gories. This year the judges felt that both boys were equally deserving.
