She specializes in site selection for the development and implementation of retail tenants’ expansion strategies. She represents developers and owners of high-density, mixed-use properties in downtown Chicago and suburban central business districts.

Ms. Karr has completed transactions totaling nearly one million square feet in high-profile urban retail developments including , Piper’s Alley, Old Town Square, Clybourn Square and Lakewood Commons, including a 100,000 square foot AMC Theatres facility. Her institutional client list includes the General Electric Pension Fund, Silverpeak Real Estate Partners, Waterton Assoc./CalSTRS, Kennedy Associates, and Apollo Real Estate Advisors.

Ms. Karr has exclusively represented national companies, including Viacom and ABN AMRO in the disposition of excess retail property. She has completed more than 500 retail transactions during her career.
