    D.O. Dominio De Valdepusa

    -D.O. Dominio de Valdepusa Dominio de Valdepusa, located in the Toledo municipality of Malpica de Tajo, has belonged to Carlos Falcó’s, the Marques de Griñón’s, family since 1292. In 2002 this property was granted the first ‘pago’ Denomination of Origin by the Spanish State. In 2003 the European Union convalidated this recognition, making Dominio de Valdepusa the first Spanish estate to receive a recognition only previously obtained by legendary vineyards such as Romanée Conti (Burgundy) or Sassicaia (Toscana). Dominio de Valdepusa is a unique vineyard occupying 52ha, including the original vineyard of (14 ha) Cabernet Sauvignon which planted in 1974. Since 1991, this has been progressively increased with Syrah and Petit Verdot varieties, both pioneers in Spain, and Graciano. The main house and winery of Dominio de Valdepusa are set in historical 18th century buildings. The old Casa de Labor (Workhouse) acts as a visit centre today, includes an avant-garde design kitchen, 4 dining rooms, and tasting rooms with a joint capacity of up to 120 people, likewise Dominio management offices. The central courtyard of classic Toledan architecture like the rest of the winery houses a grape press inaugurated by the Prince of Asturias and Duke and Duchess of Lugo, where visitors can experience traditional grape pressing in the grape-picking season. The vineyard landscape includes large iberian oaks (Quercus Ilex); its paths are lined with cypresses, rosebushes and rows of lavender. Between the house and winery a botanic garden has been planted since 2000 with over 300 species, mainly Mediterranean of origin. Their current production of 350,000 bottles, advised by the prestigious Bordeaux oenologist Michel Rolland, centres exclusively on red wines produced for grapes from our own vineyards.

Two territories of similar extension and with historical coincidences in their development have been selected: the Okanagan Valley, Canada, and the region of Somontano, Spain. Methodologically, an analysis of the content on Twitter has been performed, collecting 1377 tweets. The conclusion is that wineries create sentimental and experiential links with the users, avoiding commercial communications. Specifically, Okanagan wineries establish a relevant conversation network on Twitter based on the high percentage of responses, which is 31.3%, but this is not so in the case of Somontano, which is 12.8%. The tourist attractions most used to create a bond are the wine landscape and the gastronomy in the case of both territories. The tourism sustainability variable remains a minor matter in the emission of messages on Twitter. Torres Martínez** y Michel Muñoz García***. *[email protected] **ketxutorres@yahoo,com ***[email protected] Resumen: Presentamos los resultados de la intervención realizada en el “Cerro de los Moros” (Castillejo de Iniesta, Cuenca). Se trata de un poblado de la Edad del Bronce en el que se conservan todas sus estructuras fundamentales y contiene potente estratigrafía con materiales en muy buen estado de conservación. Se pone en relación con otros casos estudiados en distintas zonas de la Provincia de Cuenca mediante planteamientos de Arqueología del Paisaje, para tratar sobre la consolidación del poblamiento estable en esta parte del interior de la Península. Abstract: We present the results of the intervention at “Cerro de los Moros” (Castillejo de Iniesta, Cuenca, Spain). This archaeological site is a Bronze Age village in which all the main structures are preserved, and which stratigraphy contained materials in a very good state of preservation. The site can be linked to other examples of the province of Cuenca, studied through Landscape Archaeology, to analyse the consolidation of the settlements of this part of the inland area of the Iberian Peninsula.
