All single sex schools in Hertfordshire are now academies with responsibility for their own admissions. All seven single sex schools (previously community schools) have adopted admission arrangements similar to those agreed by the county council and all continue to use the single sex priority areas and proportional allocation arrangements used historically by the county council.

Hertfordshire County Council continues to administer admissions and allocate places on behalf of the governing body for all seven schools.

The priority areas used by each school are listed below and parents shold read the individual admission arrangements of each school carefully before making an application.
