David Sullivan Head of Electrification Products, ABB
David has more than 20 years’ experience locally and internationally in the electrical supply industry as it relates to Utilities, Process Industries and Minerals.
He was appointed to the role of Local Division Manager in 2017 after leading both the Medium Voltage business for 3 years and earlier National Sales and Account Management for the Power Divisions. David brings a strong focus on understanding the needs of customers in power and automation technologies.
David has an Electrical Engineering Degree from University of New South Wales and a Masters of Business Administration from Open University United Kingdom.
David is a Trustee of CEDA.

Jim Galvin Executive Director Retail Markets, Alinta Energy
Jim Galvin has an established history in Australia’s energy markets, with more than 25 years of experience in retail, commercial, sales, marketing and customer operations roles.
Prior to joining Alinta Energy in 2014, Jim was General Manager Retail Markets at Origin where he was responsible for the growth and financial performance of the retail business servicing four million customers. This built on 20 years with AGL, where he had responsibility for retail sales and marketing, customer operations, strategic positioning and transformational change across a variety of senior roles.
Jim has overseen the expansion of Alinta Energy’s retail presence from Western Australia to the east coast of Australia. He is responsible for profitably growing the retail segment, developing innovative products and ensuring exceptional customer service for Alinta Energy’s one million plus customers.
Jim is a Trustee of CEDA.

Melissa Reynolds Chief Customer Officer, AGL Energy
Melissa has over 30 years’ experience in product, marketing, brand, sales and service in consumer and business markets. This includes leading large scale customer and digital change in the financial services and media sectors.
Prior to joining AGL, Melissa held senior roles at NAB, as EGM Retail; Sensis where she led the digital transformation of White Pages; Esanda and Westpac. Melissa joined AGL in May 2017.
Melissa holds a Bachelor of Economics, a Masters of Commerce, is a graduate of Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), and has completed the Advanced Management Program at Insead.
Melissa is a Trustee of CEDA.

Peter Israel Principal and Power Sector Lead, Advisian
Peter has extensive energy sector experience having been a senior executive through the deregulation phase of Australia’s energy industry and working in power development internationally. He is currently advising private and Government entities on commercial implementation of renewable and storage initiatives to in Australia.
Peter had held a number of Board positions in the sector and recently led the market entry of a major Australian company into utility scale solar in Chile’s Atacama Desert, whilst assessing geothermal, hydro and LNG opportunities in that country.
Prior to this he was Chief Executive Officer of an international energy development company and had responsibility for a portfolio of 3000MW of operating generation in the National Electricity Market. Before entering the energy sector Peter was a Vice President with Merrill Lynch and Bankers Trust and commenced his career as an officer in the Royal Australian Navy.
Peter is a Trustee of CEDA.
