Manuscripts must be printed on one side of an A4 paper. The font size must be “12” with double line spacing, Times New Roman character. 5. Abstract must not be more than 250 words and the entire write up must not exceed 15 pages and key words should be 4-6 words. 6. The journal adopts American Psychological Association (APA) referencing style. 7. Manuscripts may be sent back to the author(s) for corrections to be effected where necessary. Failure to effect the corrections as it is contained in the reviewer’s guideline will cause delay in publishing the article. 8. There is no deadline for submission. The population of this study is 40 Federal University libraries in Nigeria. The sample size is made of 37 Federal University Libraries with a functional website. A check list under six broad categories was design and data was collected by visiting the library websites through their University home page in September 2013. The study revealed that even though Nigerian academic libraries have made their presence online by deploying a library website, many of them do not use their library websites to provide their patrons with contact and general information on the services they provide and facilitate access to their resources. The study concluded that the use of library website to provide general information and contact information on the library was explored only by very few academic libraries. Recommendation for the redesign of academic library websites to make it more effective was made.

Checklist was used for data collection and analyzed using simple percentage. Multi-stage sampling procedure was used to select 425 undergraduate agricultural students in Nigeria. Data were obtained with questionnaire and were presented using percentage, and mean. Results revealed that the majority (57.1%) of the students were female with an average age of 24 years. The majority (83.5%) also accessed one to two social media sites on daily basis, and the sites most visited by the students were WhatsApp (100.0%), Facebook (97.8%), Instagram (76.9%) and Google+ (74.7%).
