Loss Leaders releases dating back to 1969 (and even a little earlier). For those who lived through the era, Warner Bros.     ✓ Festival H Street Festival In 2002 the D.C. government launched the GetOut Main Streets program to revitalize seven busi- ness districts in the city. H Street Main Street, The week’s pocket picks serving the Northeast corridor, is one of the BY SAMANTHA SAULT program’s biggest successes, as just over a decade later the neighborhood is buzzing with new restaurants, shops, arts venues and, soon, streetcar service. On Saturday H Street Main Street will show off its progress during the H Street Festival, with participation from more than 200 businesses and community organiza- tions. Covering 10 blocks along H Street NE, the festival will include 500 musicians and artists of all genres, fi tness demonstrations and interactive art displays, plus 70 food and beverage vendors, including neighborhood restaurants and the city’s favorite food trucks. The festival kicks off with the Washington Nationals Presidents racing along 8th and H streets. While you’re there, be sure to get a look at the D.C. Please note the different venue and the lower price. I am excited to wrap up this season by co-moderating this panel with the amazing, Mara Schwartz Kuge! We take a vacation in the month of July, but next up is our Second Annual Summer Networking Mixer at the Palihouse in West Hollywood on August 27th. Come join us for an entire evening of networking. These amazing women and men sacrifice so much of their time and energy to ensure that all of the CCC activities are planned and executed without a hitch.
