Stay on Southern Blvd (left) as the road splits into Southern Blvd and th 718-367-5915 Crotona Ave. Continue to E. 187 St (the second light after you cross Fordham Rd). Turn right th onto E. 187 St, continue for 7 blocks to Arthur We will be carpooling from NYBG to Ave, then turn left. You can park on the street or th Emilia’s. in the lot on Arthur Avenue just south of 187 Street. Directions to The New York Botanical Garden By Public Transportation FROM MANHATTAN BY METRO-NORTH RAILROAD: Harlem Local Line from Grand Central Terminal to Botanical Garden Station – 22 minutes direct to the NYBG gate (across street from station). FROM MANHATTAN BY SUBWAY: "D" or "4" train to Bedford Park Blvd. Walk southeast on Bedford Park Blvd. to the Garden (approx. 20-minute walk, away from Lehman College), or take the "Bx-26" or “Bx- 25” bus to the NYBG gate. By Car FROM MANHATTAN (EAST SIDE): FDR Drive to the Triborough Bridge, follow signs to the Bronx. Take the Bruckner Expressway East (I-278) to the Bronx River Parkway North. Take Bronx River Parkway to Exit 8W (Mosholu Parkway). Continue on Southern Blvd through the first light (Mosholu Pkwy). Turn left at the next light into NYBG’s Mosholu Gate (across from the Metro North station). FROM MANHATTAN (WEST SIDE): West Side Highway N (becomes the Henry Hudson Parkway) to Exit 24, Mosholu Parkway. Take Mosholu Parkway to the end, which is Southern Boulevard. Turn right onto Southern Blvd., then left at the first light into NYBG’s Mosholu Gate (across from Metro North station). FROM WESTCHESTER: Cross County Parkway East or West (depending on starting point) to Bronx River Parkway South to Exit 8W (Mosholu Parkway). Continue on Southern Blvd through the first light (Mosholu Pkwy). Turn left at the next light into NYBG’s Mosholu Gate (across from the Metro North station). FROM NEW JERSEY: George Washington Bridge to Henry Hudson Parkway North (stay to the far left on bridge upper level), then follow Manhattan West Side directions shown above. .
