July 16, 2008 USANA Athletic Advisory Council Member & Associate Jennifer Azzi to Be Inducted Into Women's Basketball Hall of Fame SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- USANA (NASDAQ: USNA) Associate and former Utah Starzz point guard Jennifer Azzi is one of six women who will be inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame next June. The Class of 2009 also includes Cynthia Cooper-Dyke, Jennifer Gillom, Sonja Hogg, Ora Washington and Jill Hutchison. "It is a great honor to be inducted into the Hall of Fame--overwhelming in fact," Jennifer said. "My basketball career became more than I could have ever imagined. I was so blessed with outstanding teammates and coaches. I cannot celebrate without them nor without my family and friends. That includes my USANA family, who have been such an inspiration and motivation in my life." Azzi played for Stanford University's women's basketball team and is regarded by many as one of Stanford's greatest players. While there, she helped lead the team to a 1990 NCAA National Championship, was named NCAA Player of the Year and was selected as MVP for the 1989-90 women's Final Four. Azzi was the youngest person ever inducted into Stanford's Athletic Hall of Fame.
