Care of St. Buryan saw their three Limousin crosses topping at 225p, 224p and 223p/kg, purchased by Dales Family Butchers, Peter Morris Butchers and R.J. Trevarthen Ltd respectively. Premium steer from Messrs. W.T. Bryant & Sons of St. Martin a big 716kg Limousin x at 214p/kg realising £1,532 to R.J. Trevarthen Ltd. Even dearer at £1,590 was an 841kg Limousin x from Mr. J.M. Hinkley of Rejerrah sold to J.V. Richards Ltd. Top value heifer at £1,378 for Messrs. D.L. & A.E. Grigg of Goonhavern being a heavy 703kg Limousin x and bought by R.J. A premium of 156p/kg for a well-fleshed young Friesian from Messrs. W. Marsh & Son of St. Stephen realising £1,002 to Messrs. Rapson of Tavistock. Few beef sorts forward saw a Limousin x lead at 130p/kg and £991 for Mr. J.M. A big stirk entry saw older stirks top at £490, with nice younger stirks from Messrs. W.
