Top price per kilo came for the Class 3 Light Heifer winner at 240p/kg being a Limousin x heifer from Mr. A.M.C. Eddy of St. Erth bought by Harvey Bros. Butchers of St. Ives, Penzance & Newlyn. She was the pick of five super young cattle from this farm which averaged over 219p/kg. Premium steer was the Class 2 Heavy winner, a 670kg Limousin x steer from George Richards Farms of Summercourt who also picked up two further prizes, which sold at 226p/kg to Chris Dale of Dales Family Butchers of Helston. The day also saw one of the highest value animals ever sold through the fat ring at £1,687 (204p/kg) for a 827kg Limousin x steer shown off by Fleur Hinkley of Messrs.
