FAW JILIN è la divisione di FAW che si occupa di minivan e veicoli commerciali leggeri, è situate a Jilin nella provincia omonima. Fondata nel 1980 e acquistata da FAW nel 1987. Dall’ottobre 2005 al 2010 ha avuto una joint-venture con Daihatsu Motor Co e ora Jilin ha mantenuto lo stabilimento produttivo e i diritti di produzione di veicoli sviluppati. FAW-VW è la joint-venture tra FAW Group Corporation e Volkswagen AG, Audi AG e Volkswagen Automobile (China) Investment Co., Ltd. Si occupa della produzione della gamma Volkswagen per il mercato cinese. FAW-GM è la joint-venture tra FAW Group Corporation e General Motors (China) Investment Co., Ltd. Formalmente costituita nel 2009. Si occupa principalmente di veicoli commerciali e industriali leggeri. L’azienda ha tre sedi, una a Changchun, una a Harbin entrambe nel nord est, e una nella provincia dello Yunnan a sudovest. FAW R&D CENTER è stato fondato nel 1950 e opera come ente per la ricerca e lo sviluppo di tutto il Gruppo FAW, dopo sei decadi è divenuto il più grande e importante centro ricerca nel mondo dell’automobile cinese.
