Jika sesuatu permohonan untuk mendaftarkan disetuju terima dengan tertakluk kepada apa-apa syarat, pindaan, ubahsuaian atau batasan, syarat, pindaan, ubahsuaian atau batasan tersebut hendaklah dinyatakan dalam iklan. Jika sesuatu permohonan untuk mendaftarkan di bawah perenggan 10(1)(e) Akta diiklankan sebelum penyetujuterimaan menurut subseksyen 27(2) Akta itu, perkataan-perkataan “Permohonan di bawah perenggan 10(1)(e) yang diiklankan sebelum penyetujuterimaan menurut subseksyen 27(2)” hendaklah dinyatakan dalam iklan itu. Due to its relatively cheaper fare as compared to the air transport, bus is more affordable to those with low income. However, bus transport service today is starting to face higher competition from rail and air transport due to their attractive factors. The huge challenge faced by intercity bus transport in Malaysia is the management of its services. The intercity bus transport does not fall under one management; unlike rail transport which is managed under Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB), or air transport which is managed under Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB).

    03/02/1997 Second aircraft for AirAsia AIRASIA Sdn Bhd, which launched its first Boeing 737-300s last year, officiated the arrival of its second aircraft in a colourful traditional tepung tawar ceremony at the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah International Airport in Subang, Selangor. The ceremony, which was witnessed by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Mahathir Mohamad on Saturday, marked another milestone for AirAsia which is aiming to go global in five years. AirAsia director Datuk Tik Mustaffa said the company had made known to the Transport Ministry two or three months ago on its interest to have additional flight destinations. "We submitted a proposal to the ministry last week on expanding our operation within the Asian region to include China, India and Indonesia," he told a Press conference earlier. Plans are in the pipeline to fly to Subic Bay or Cebu in the Philippines next year. The country's second national carrier, commercially known as Pacific Eagle, commenced operation on Nov 18 last year after a two-year delay when Malaysia Airlines refused to share with AirAsia some of its regional routes. While Malaysia Airlines will continue to be the country's sole international carrier, AirAsia will ensure that there will not be an overlapping of routes between the two airlines. Tik said the airline would also consider operating domestic flights if the local demand and also market share justified the move. AirAsia, incorporated in 1993, is a joint venture company between Hicom Holdings Bhd which holds a 85 per cent stake and Mofaz Air Sdn Bhd the remaining 15 per cent.

Automobiles industry of Malaysia is one of major producers and exporters of vehicle parts, components and accessories, which are widely marketed to most of leading countries of world. Foreign countries like Japan, UK, Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, are major importers of Malaysia's cars and automotive parts. Leading automotive manufacturing companies like Mercedes, Suzuki, Ford, General Motors, Mazda, Nissan and Mitsubishi are using Malaysian automotive products and accessories because of their high quality and competitive prices. As per the market survey conducted by business times during 2009 suggests that, “sales of Malaysian vehicle reached 4,648 units with an overall growth of 13.8% and is expected to increase in coming years.” During the period of global slowdown from 2008 to 2011, the Malaysian economy got through the other rival economies by keeping inflation under control through their effective banking system and constantly controlling manufacturing cost. Realizing the cost advantage other competitive edge that Malaysian automobile industry possesses, the government of Malaysia is incessantly trying to reorganize their automobile industry by encouraging the manufacturers to produce more and more number of cars to meet constant growing demand of consumers.

    , POSITION PAPER SEQUENCING LIBERALIZATION FOR JULY 2019 THE MALAYSIAN AVIATION SERVICES SECTOR This Position Paper discusses the Malaysian Aviation Commission’s position and recommendations on the aviation services sector liberalization. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The Malaysian aviation services sector has undergone significant liberalization, consistent with international trends for sector liberalization since the 1970s. While the understanding of liberalization tends to focus on the promotion and increase of foreign investment and ownership in the domestic industry players, the concept of liberalization is wider. Both the Malaysian and international experiences highlight that liberalization also extends to the negotiations for greater air traffic rights (ATRs) via air service agreements (ASAs), promoting private ownership, as well as, reducing and dismantling barriers to entry, thus, promoting competition in the sector. Sector liberalization is an evolutionary rather than a revolutionary process, but its pace is hastened by technological changes. Both the Government of Malaysia (GoM) and industry players must appreciate that market liberalization process penalizes inefficient industry players, which may be forced to exit the market in the long term. Sector liberalization has been accompanied by deregulation but this does not mean unfettered access to and unbridled (potentially anti-competitive) behaviour in the market. Traditional economic regulations are no longer sufficient to regulate the more competitive market environment. Hence, the Malaysian Aviation Commission (MAVCOM) was established to be the economic regulator with the power to regulate competition matters for the sector. This model is based on international best practices on economic regulation, which emphasize independence, transparency, accountability, and professionalism. These principles must be upheld and respected by all relevant stakeholders in the sector.

    08/03/2002 MAS, AirAsia ordered out of Subang Cheah Chor Sooi; Farrah Naz Karim PUTRAJAYA, Thurs. - Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia have been ordered to shift their operations from the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah airport in Subang to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Sepang by July. Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ling Liong Sik in announcing the Cabinet decision said the move was aimed at increasing connectivity and spur KLIA, which is the country's premier airport, to achieve the critical mass of passengers in a shorter time. The other three domestic airline operators, namely Pelangi Air, Berjaya Air and Transmile Air are not affected by the relocation exercise. Berjaya Air, which is deemed an operator of propeller driven aircraft, is exempted on the basis that its planes would slow down the take-off and landing time of the much faster jet aircraft in KLIA. As for Pelangi Air, which has temporarily suspended its domestic passenger flights pending a corporate restructuring exercise, Dr Ling said a decision would be made later depending on the type of aircraft it uses. "Transmile Air will stay in Subang for another 10 years as it only provides courier service, which does not contribute to the critical mass in KLIA or ridership of the Express Rail Link which commences operations on April 19. "Moreover, the company has invested a large sum of money to build hangars, warehouses and engineering facilities at Subang. "Also unaffected by the move are the Royal Malaysian Air Force base, the RM1 billion National Exhibition and Convention Centre project, the operations of Airod Sdn Bhd, the aviation park and other functions at Subang airport." Speaking at a Press conference in his office, Dr Ling said both Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia had been informed that they have until end of June to move their operations to KLIA.
