The Catholic Schools Gifted and Talented learning hub will be launched at Saint Mary's on the 11th of April. Students from

This is the first time that students have been invited to attend one of these meetings which Music teachers organise. Meihana and Elliot were joined by students from Logan Park, St Hilda's and Kaikorai Valley College.

All the students had a say in the choice of music for choir, orchestra, string orchestra and concert band.

The festival this year will be held on Monday 11th September and music will be available for singers/musicians very soon!

Otago/Southland Secondary Schools Athletics Championships Congratulations to the following students who have qualified for the South Island Secondary School Athletics Champs to be held in Dunedin on Friday 31st to Sunday 2nd April. ongratulations to Erika The students qualified by being in the top five of C Fairweather who finished their finals at the Otago/Southland Secondary with seven golds and two silver medals at the recent New Zealand Schools meet last weekend. She finished as the dominant free- Eila Chirnside U16 800m style swimmer of her age-group, Brigid Corson Senior Long Jump winning gold in the 100m (Otago Record), 200m (Otago and NZ Record), 400m (Otago Record) and 800m (Otago Record), and Senior 100m Hurdles silver in the 50m (Otago Record). Congratulations to who won a Peter Sewell U14 400m Junior Fours Bowls Tournament last weekend. This gave Mitchell a Dunedin Centre title which means he is one of the top bowlers for juniors in Dunedin.
