CLASS REPORT 1. MEMBERS: During 2014 the Olympic RS:X Class, had Association with 72 nations representing 6 continents competing on RS:X board, on the different regattas. 2. The formal current membership includes 52 Active (voting) members and 4 Individual members (non-voting). 3. ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING: The 2014 International RS:X Class Association’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held in Cesme, Turkey on 1st of July 2014. 4. The AGM approved: a. the reduction of the Executive Committee from 14 members to 9 members. b. Dominique Vallee (CAN) and Pedro Bulhoes (BRA) were elected as the new Vice Presidents and Raul Saubidet (ARG) as a new Treasurer of the RS:X Class. c. Ronnie Meir (ISR) was elected as a new Coaches’ Representative in the Excecutive Committee. d. The AGM approved also the new Constitution of the class (posted on the web www.rsxclass.com) 5. EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING: Upon request from members according to Constitution, the Class had an Extraordianry General Meeting (EGM) in Santander (ESP) on September 11, 2014 for one submission, concerning the use of personal/approved equipment, at Rio 2016 Olympic Games (the mast, fin and boom).

Decimo giorno di regata dei XXX Giochi Olimpici Londra 2012 con la disputa della Medal Race per l’RS:X femminile e maschile. In regata anche il 470 maschile e femminile. Riposo per i 49er in attesa della Medal Race domani in cui regateranno gli azzurri Giuseppe Angilella – Gianfranco Sibello. Primi sulla linea di partenza alle 12 ore locali il 470 M (Race 9&10) seguiti dal 470 F (Race 7&8). Alle 13, partenza della Medal Race classe RS:X maschile e un’ora più tardi la Medal per l’RS:X femminile con in regata Alessandra Sensini (ore 15 italiane). Cielo nuvoloso con pioggia e scarsa visibilità. Vento da sud ovest a 10 nodi che nel pomeriggio dovrebbe ruotare verso sud e intensificare con raffiche a 20. Gabrio Zandonà-Pietro Zucchetti si qualificano per la Medal Race nel 470 maschile e sono al 4° posto in classifica provvisoria (oggi 11-3). Male oggi Giulia Conti-Giovanna Micol al 16° posto nella prima prova e 17ime nella seconda. Le azzurre sono all’8° posto in classifica. I risultati che seguono sono provvisori, prima della discussione di eventuali proteste. RS:XFemminile (26nazioni) Sulla linea di partenza della Medal Race alle 14 ore locali 12 nodi di vento da 230°, ma rafficato. Su percorso L3 si porta al comando l’ucraina Maslivets che non raggiunge la layline e che perde parte del vantaggio sulle avversarie alla boa 1.

    1 XXIX. Olympijské Hry 2008 Beijing - Čína Jachtárske regaty v Qingdao. Výsledky a komentáre k olympijským regatám jedenástich olympijských tried. 2 Olympijský ohe ň v prístave Qingdao, kde sa konali jachtárske olympijské regaty. 3 VŠEOBECNE. S ve ľkou pozornos ťou sa po celú Olympiádu 2005 až 2008 ostro sledovali v celom sve- tovom športe prípravy na Olympijské Hry v Beijingu. My jachtári sme boli zvedaví najmä na Qingdao, ktoré malo by ť miestom, kde sa mala uskuto čni ť jachtárska čas ť a hlavne na to aké podmienky na pretekárov čakajú. O jachtárskom revíre pred týmto 5 miliónovým prístavným mestom, chodili zlé správy od pretekárov, ktorí tam chodili pravidelne na skusy a na tréningy. Okrem toho Číňania usporadúvali každý rok v termíne olympijskej regaty, predolympijské medzinárodné preteky s tým istým formátom a zabezpečením aké mali by ť na OH. Dostávali sme teda správy o slabých vetroch, alebo opa čne o tajfúne, o silných a nevyspytate ľných prú- doch, o zne čistení vody, ako aj o zarastaní zálivu v ktorom majú by ť trate pre preteky zele- ným porastom álg. V správach a hlavne na obrázkoch sme s úžasom videli plachetnice tréno- va ť na „zelenej lúke". V skuto čnosti sa naozaj všetko potvrdilo a vä čšina rozjázd bola postih- nutá niektorou z týchto neregulárnych podmienok. V olympijských lodných triedach bola zmena len v kategórii žien, lebo trieda Europa, bola nahradená ve ľmi rozšírenou triedou Laser Radial. Formát pretekov bol nový, lebo pre všetky triedy okrem triedy 49er bolo vypísaných 11 a pre túto skifovú lo ď 16 rozjázd. Prvých 10 rozjázd bolo vlastne vyra ďovacích, lebo po týchto rozjazdách sa v jedenástej resp.
