Tempi in progressiva diminuzione rispetto agli anni precedenti (54 i giorni nel 2017, 56 nel 2016) e pari alla metà di quelli previsti dalla legge. 1161 le pratiche gestite e 175 i procedimenti conclusi con un atto espresso, con una percentuale pari al 91% di conclusione positiva. Sono i risultati dell’attività 2018 dello Sportello Unico per le attività produttive che fa capo alla Camera di Commercio e che riunisce 29 comuni del Cusio e del Basso e Alto Verbano (Anzola d’Ossola, Arizzano, Arola, Baveno, Brovello Carpugnino, Cannero Riviera, Cannobio, Casale Corte Cerro, Cavaglio-Spoccia, Cesara, Cursolo- Orasso, Falmenta, Germagno, Gignese, Gravellona Toce, Gurro, Loreglia, Madonna del Sasso, Massiola, Nonio, Oggebbio, Omegna, Premeno, Quarna Sopra, Quarna Sotto, Stresa, Trarego Viggiona, Vignone e Valstrona). Omegna, Gravellona Toce, Cannobio, Baveno, Stresa sono i Comuni con il maggiore numero di interventi autorizzati, pari all’80 % del totale dei procedimenti gestiti dallo Sportello Unico. Una autorizzazione unica, quella rilasciata dal Suap, che comprende le opere edilizie, i profili paesaggistico – ambientali, i requisiti igienico - sanitari e di prevenzione incendi oltre che la valutazione dei requisiti per l’esercizio dell’attività. Nuove costruzioni, ristrutturazioni, trasferimenti e modifiche di impianti produttivi sono stati gli interventi autorizzati dallo Sportello Unico. Nel 60 % dei casi è stato necessario attivare un procedimento edilizio e oltre la metà ha richiesto il rilascio di una autorizzazione paesaggistica.

Ever since Napoleon built the Simplon highway from Geneva to Milan, which ran to the shores of Lake Maggiore, it became part of the Grand Tour, a haven for Europeans and British pioneers. Seduced by its Mediterranean climate, they built imposing villas and beautiful gardens attracting aristocrats, poets, writers and composers of the time. It was the setting for Ernest Hemingway’s “A Farewell to Arms” and it is easy to imagine his heroes fleeing from the Italian police in a rowing boat, trying to reach the Swiss border of the lake. Kings and Queens, writers, poets and composers such as Verdi, Wagner and Rossini have enjoyed the same panoramic views, nearby islands, exquisite botanical gardens, woodlands and tranquility that exist today. Lake Maggiore is the second largest lake on the south side of the Alps. The west bank is in the Italian region of Piedmont and the right in Lombardy. In the north Lake Maggiore crosses the Swiss border into the canton of Ticino. It is 65 km long and 10 km across at its widest point between Pallanza and Stresa. In spring and early summer the shores are lined with oleander and the scent of orange blossom pervades. Ever present are the magnificent palm trees and the heavenly scent of verbena. Across from Lake Maggiore lie the Borromean Islands and Isola Bella.

(omissis) IL DIRIGENTE (omissis) determina - di individuare, sulla base dei risultati dei campionamenti effettuati nell’anno 2015, le zone utilizzabili e non utilizzabili ai fini balneari per l’anno 2016. Tali zone sono riportate nell'Allegato che è parte integrante e sostanziale della presente determinazione. - di sollecitare i Sindaci dei Comuni con zone risultate temporaneamente non balneabili nel corso della stagione, al rispetto degli obblighi di legge citati in premessa, ovvero l’apposizione di idonea segnaletica ed l’invio tempestivo delle ordinanze di divieto di balneazione e di revoca del divieto al Ministero della Salute, e per opportuna conoscenza alla Regione Piemonte, mediante posta elettronica e successiva posta ordinaria.
