Rotherham Christmas & New Year 2019/2020 Bus, Train & Tram Train Services Rotherham Christmas & New Year 2019/2020 Bus, Train & Tram Train Services Plan your festive travel 15386 Xmas TT covers.indd 2 30/10/2019 08:07 Introduction This guide contains information on bus, train and Tram Train services operating over the festive period. Train and Tram Train services will not operate on Boxing Day but will operate on New Year’s Day. Normal fares will apply in both cases. Travel passes, TravelMaster tickets and season tickets will also be accepted. Normal child fares will apply. Traveline and disruptions information Please note the Traveline service will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. During this period no live updates will be issued through Twitter or the disruptions page on the Travel South Yorkshire website. Park & Ride, Ticketing & TravelMaster Park & Ride during Christmas and New Year Please be aware that during the Christmas and New Year period there will be changes to park and ride facilities. Check operating times at: travelsouthyorkshire.com/parkandride/ or call Traveline on 01709 51 51 51. Ticketing Concessionary Travel The 0930 travel restriction will be removed for senior concessionary pass holders between Thursday 26 December 2019 and Wednesday 1 January 2020 inclusive. Customers may use their pass during this period to obtain free travel on bus and Tram Train services, and half fare travel on Northern services within South Yorkshire, from the beginning to the end of service. TravelMaster tickets TravelMaster cannot be refunded or extended for days when there are few or no public transport services. Please ensure you check your public transport service is operating before purchasing your product. Further Information Over the festive period, there will be changes to the normal operation of some services.
