From the train station you can walk, take a taxi or go to and catch a bus to Voluntary Action Rotherham. If you take the bus, turn right as you leave the train station – you will see the interchange across the road on your left.

Voluntary Action Rotherham and The Spectrum are accessible on foot from the centre of Rotherham including the train station and bus interchange.

Train Station 1. Exit the Station and turn right on to Central Road 2. Continue to the end of Central Road and enter the pedestrian area in front of the law courts 3. Continue to Main Street (do not take the foot path along the canal) 4. Turn right on to Main Street and continue for 0.1 miles 5. Turn right on to Westgate and and continue for 0.2 miles 6. Turn left Coke Lane at the New York Tavern pub 7. VAR and The Spectrum should be visible in front of you.

Bus Interchange 1. Exit the Interchange on to Frederick Street 2. Turn left Corporation Street continue up the hill for 0.2 miles 3. Bear right on to Westgate at the traffic lights and continue for 0.2 miles 4. Turn left Coke Lane at the New York Tavern pub 5. VAR and The Spectrum should be visible in front of you. From the

Leave the motorway at Junction 33 of the M1. If traveling from the North, take your first left off the roundabout onto the A630 Rotherway. If traveling from the South, move into the right hand lane of the slip road and take the third exit on the roundabout (onto the A630 Rotherway).

Page 2 of 3 At the first roundabout (0.25 miles) take the first exit following the signs to Magna. At the next roundabout (0.5 miles), take the second exit again following the signs to Magna. At the next roundabout (1 mile) take the third exit signposted towards Rotherham Town Centre. This is Sheffield Road and takes you directly to the pay and display car parks identified on the map attached. Take the second road to the right, which takes you behind the New York Tavern pub. You will see the building directly in front of you.

From St Ann’s Roundabout

Follow the A630 Centenary Way. As you approach the roundabout stay in the left hand lane and take the third exit, (you will pass the Rotherham Interchange on your left), continuing on the A630. Go straight ahead at the next roundabout. You will then approach another roundabout (Liquid/Diva night club is on the corner). Take the first exit onto Main Street. Continue along Main Street until you reach a set of traffic lights, turn right onto Westgate. Continue along Westgate until you see The New York Tavern Pub on your left. Take a slight left turn onto Coke Lane. VAR’s new premises are directly in front of you.

Parking

Numerous pay-and-display car parking facilities are available on Westgate and Sheffield Road very close to VAR and The Spectrum. The best option is the Sheffield Road car park, currently £1.80 for all day parking. This shown on the prepared Google Map (http://tinyurl.com/5566jr). If you are using an onsite parking space they are located behind the building and can be accessed by going taking the first right turn off of Coke Hill. Disabled parking is in front of the building off of Coke Lane.
