Mr.CUI Tiankai, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the United States of America

Mr. Cui Tiankai was born in October 1952. He has a Master's degree of Laws. He has been the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the United States of America since 2013. Prior to that, he was the Vice Minister within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Madame JIANG Xiaojuan, Deputy Secretary General of the State Council of the People's Republic of China

Jiang Xiaojuan is a native of Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province. She graduated from Xi’an Jiatong University. A global investment and industry economist, Jiang was a vice­chairman and secretary­general of the international investment research center at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. She was a committee member of the National Soft Scientific Direction Committee and has served as an economic adviser for several cities and provinces.

She is the author of several books, including "The Upgrade of Industry in the System Shunt," "Upgrade of Industry Structure in the Turn of the Century," and "The Trend of Globalization with Advanced Technology Industry Development."

Jiang was the Deputy Director of the Institute of Finance and Trade Economics at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. From 2004 to 2011 she served as deputy director of the Research Office of the State Council. In 2011, she became Deputy Secretary­General of the State Council.

Mr. HAO Ping, Vice Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China

Dr. Hao Ping was born in Shandong Province. He is a full professor of Peking University (PKU) with a Ph.D. in International Relations.

Madame ZHANG Qiyue, Consul General of the People's Republic of China in New York

Ambassador Zhang Qiyue started her diplomatic career in 1982. She has rich experience in multilateral and bilateral diplomacy. She served as Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Belgium and Indonesia respectively. Her previous posts also include the Secretariat of Headquarters in New York and Chinese Permanent Mission to the United Nations.

From 1998 to 2004, she worked as the Spokeswoman of the Chinese Foreign Ministry. She also served as Deputy Director General of the Information Department from 1998 to 2004 and Director General of the Department for Diplomatic Missions Abroad from 2012 to 2014.

Ambassador Zhang Qiyue graduated from Beijing Foreign Studies University. She is married, with one son. She has been the Consul General of China in New York since December 29th, 2014.
