Depths of between 9.0 metres and 10.7 metres below Chart Datum have encroached up to 135 metres into the Northern edge of the Navigable Channel from 812 metres to 1168 metres East of the No. 3 Chequer Light Buoy. Deeper water exists to the South in this vicinity. Depths of between 6.3 metres and 7.3 metres below Chart Datum have encroached up to 700 metres into the Southern edge of the Navigable Channel from 130 metres West to 530 metres East of the No. 2 Haile Sand Light Buoy. Depths of between 8.2 metres below Chart Datum and 10.7 metres below Chart Datum have encroached up to 790 metres into the Southern buoy-line of the Inward Traffic Separation Scheme lane, from the Alpha Buoy to 1500 metres East North East of the Bravo Buoy. 18-Jun-2020 16:05 H86/2020 MARINERS ARE WARNED that a survey carried out on the 18th June 2020 shows that depths of less than 9.7 metres below Chart Datum have encroached up to 35 metres into the South side of the Hawke channel from 100 metres to 840 metres upstream of the No. P4 Light Buoy. Masters of Very Large Vessels (VLS) should take these depths into account when preparing passage plans as they may be impeded by the encroachmen 08-Dec-2020 14:17 H167/2020 Depths of between 2.8 metres and 5.5 metres below Chart Datum have encroached up to 38 metres into the Southern edge of the channel from 365 metres to 550 metres downstream of the No. 8 Middle Burcom Light buoy. Deeper water exists to the West in this vicinity 09-Feb-2021 16:13 H.22/2021 MARINERS ARE WARNED that a survey carried out on the 9th February 2021 shows that depths of less than 9.7 metres below Chart Datum have encroached up to 35 metres into the South side of the Hawke channel from 120 metres to 875 metres upstream of the No. P4 Light Buoy. Masters of Very Large Vessels (VLS) should take these depths into account when preparing passage plans as they may be impeded by the encroachment. 24-Feb-2021 16:04 H.30/2021 Depths of less than 6.4 metres below Chart Datum have encroached up to 50 metres into the Southern edge of the navigation channel from 400 metres upstream of the No. 4A Clee Ness Light Float to 260 metres downstream of the No. 4B Light Buoy. Depths of less than 6.4 metres below Chart Datum have encroached up to 35 metres into the Southern edge of the navigation channel from 350 metres to 600 metres downstream of the No. 8 Middle Burcom Light Buoy. Depths of between 0 metres at Chart Datum and 1.1 metres ABOVE Chart Datum exist up to 175 metres from the North bank from 870 metres to 1380 metres upstream of Victoria Lock. Deeper water exists to the South in this vicinity. 11-May-2021 14:15 H77/2021 HALTON MIDDLE - SHOAL WATER MARINERS ARE WARNED that surveys carried out on the 5th and 6th May 2021 show the following: - Depths of between 5.1 metres and 5.5 metres below Chart Datum have encroached up to 80 metres into the East side of the channel from 460 metres downstream to 860 metres upstream of the No. 15A Light Buoy. Deeper water exists to the West in this vicinity.     Local Authority Dr Matthew Barnes Officer Department Environmental Health (Commercial) Church Square House Scunthorpe Address North Lincolnshire DN15 6XQ Telephone 01724 297336 e-mail [email protected] Date January 2016 Report Status Final Report 1 Executive summary North Lincolnshire Council’s Air Quality Progress Report 2011 identified a possible exceedance of nitrogen dioxide alongside the A160 in South Killingholme. For this reason, in October 2013 North Lincolnshire Council installed an air quality monitoring site to more accurately measure nitrogen dioxide, nitric oxide and nitrogen oxides at this location. Nitric oxide (NO) is mainly derived from road transport emissions and other combustion processes. Nitric oxide is not considered to be harmful to health, however, once emitted to the atmosphere it is rapidly oxidised to nitrogen dioxide (NO2) which can be harmful to health. NO2 can irritate the lungs and lower resistance to respiratory infections. Continued exposure to concentrations above the recommended air quality objectives may cause increased incidence of acute respiratory illness in children. The main source of NO2 is from road traffic emissions. At South Killinghome the principle source is from vehicles using the A160 dual-carriage way, which provides access to the Port of Immingham, local refineries and power stations. It is also the main route to the proposed Able Marine Energy Park, a deep water quay and manufacturing facility for the offshore wind energy industry. To provide better access to the Port of Immingham and surrounding area, the Highways Agency are upgrading both the A160 and A180. It is anticipated that 1 construction will take approximately 16 months and should be completed by Autumn 2016.

The purpose of the desk based study was to provide an ecological baseline which would inform whether further mitigation and or survey effort would be recommended and to inform the subsequent Ecological Impact Assessment. 1.1.3 The desk based study identified that sufficient wintering bird survey effort had not been completed within the footprint of the Operations Area; the proposed construction site. A wintering bird survey for this site was subsequently completed. Surveys within the rest of the Application Site were not considered necessary given the existing high levels of disturbance throughout the Humber Sea Terminal and the hard standing currently used as car storage. 1.1.4 This overview report presents the data of this dedicated wintering bird survey as well as the other relevant data collected and used to inform the ecological assessment of the Environmental Statement.
