Marigold’s 4WKS litter’s notes: This is the first assessment for the litter. Pups are curious about new sounds and surroundings. They are very inquisitive about toys and textures. Going forward, they will be socialized with several different noises, textures and everyday situations they may encounter. Pups tend to have low confidence and energy levels at this point due to immaturity but in the upcoming weeks this will improve. Pups are curious about surroundings and are curious about me. Pups are unsure about socializing, but towards the end of assessment pups love socializing. Will work with pups on gaining confidence.

Marigold’s 5WKS litter’s notes: At five weeks, this is their first visit to the playroom. Pups are slowly exploring this new environment with mom. During this time, mom teaches pups how to be comfortable in new areas and become accustomed to the weaning process. She also helps the pups feel confidence in an otherwise stressful situation. Gradually throughout the week pups become more comfortable and show positive confidence traits being away from mom. Energy levels have increased and pups are now playing with toys. Pups have also begun coping with life without mom and weaning is to begin shortly after. Pups were a little frightened of the Playroom, but towards the middle of assessment were walking around. Litter overall has a minimal motivation for treats, toys. Pups have a low motivation for human interaction. Litter is very aware and slowly becoming active in the Playroom. Pups are a joy to work with. Pups are being worked with on gaining confidence in new areas. Pups are also being worked on being social. Pink has gained confidence and loves to interact. She sat next to me for the majority of assessment. She also loves to explore and was checking at new toys.

Marigold’s 6WKS litter’s notes: At this point, litter is weaning from mom and are becoming self sufficient. Pups are carrying around toys in their mouths and beginning to play independently. They have learned that toys are also part of human interaction. Pups have become more sociable the more time they spend in the playroom. They have also learned that playtime is when they will use up their energy and nap time will be spent in the crate. Litter overall responds good to new sights and sounds. Litter is very motivated by toys and human interaction and treats. Pups are very motivated to please and are eager for interaction. Litter overall is gentle with mouth and are not mouthy. No possessiveness is shown. Pups have gained a lot of confidence since last assessment. Pups have become social and enjoy being interacted with. Pink has gained confidence while playing on own. She loves to interact,but loves to explore and play. Pink is a sweet pup with a great personality.

Marigold’s 7WKS litter’s notes: Pups have successfully weaned from mom and now see her for only a little amount of time everyday in the playroom. Pups are social and interactive. Litter overall shows good confidence while playing on own. Litter overall has a good energy, and are happy, interactive puppies. Litter overall has an affectionate personality. Litter has gained confidence in the weeks we have worked together. Litter overall is curious about new sounds and sights. Pups have a good motivation for toys. All pups have a high motivation for tractability. Pups are only vocal during stressful situations. No possessiveness in litter. Litter has a mid to moderate level energy. Little overall is very affectionate and loving.

Marigold’s 8WKS assessment Litter overall is active and playful. Pups are trying to be social and interactive. Pups have bubbly little personalities and are hopping all over the room. Litter overall has great responses to new sounds. Pups will rush for the new sounds and check it out and then continue to play. Orange was a little unsure, but adjusted to the new sound, and eventually just walked up to it. Litter overall has good responses to new sights. Pups all ran up to the new sights. Blue Dot, Green Dot and Orange Dot, Orange was just curious about the new sights. The rest of the pups walked up to the new sights. Litter overall has a good too high motivation for toys. Litter overall has a high motivation for treats. Pink has high motivation for treats. The rest of the litter was a good too high motivation for treats. Pink, will work the along time for the treats. Litter overall has a high motivation for tractability.Pups crave attention and are all social. Pups show confidence while playing on own. Pups are very social, but also enjoy playing with siblings. Pups do use their mouths during interaction, but are very gentle,do not leave marks or cause pain in any way. Pups are only vocal when in stressful situations. No possessiveness is shown in this litter. Litter overall has a moderate energy. Pups excite with a little effort and calm down with a little effort. Litter overall is very respectful when interacting they are gentle and will come right back after removal. Pink has a very good temperament is gentle and calm during interaction, handling and restraint. She is a sweet little girl and has a great personality. Pink loves to play and interact. She is gentle while interacting, she loves to be social, and also loves to play with her brothers and sisters. Pink is such a sweet little girl and is going to make an amazing companion to her future family.
