All proceeds benefit the Police Officers of Scottsdale Association Outreach 907 Fund POSA was founded in 1998 and is made up of men and women who serve in law enforcement from the City of Scottsdale. The members of the organization are so dedicated to helping the community that in 2005, POSA Outreach, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization was created. Programs benefit all members of the community including youth, parents, seniors, families and merchants.

The 907 Fund (also known as the Officer Needs Assistance Fund) was created in 2007 to help both sworn and civilian law enforcement personnel with financial assistance and has helped over 50 families since its inception. The 907 Fund is named for the police radio code “907,” meaning an officer is calling for emergency assistance. Greg Adams – Greg “Gus” Adams was born in Nelson, British Columbia and was signed as an undrafted free agent by the New Jersey Devils in 1984, after playing two seasons for the Northern Arizona University Lumberjacks. In his sophomore season, he led the nation in scoring. Adams played 17 NHL seasons with the Devils, Canucks, Stars, Coyotes and Panthers. He scored 355 goals, had 388 assists, and 326 penalty minutes. This is Adams’ 2nd POSA Outreach 907 Fund Charity Hockey Game.

Wade Campbell - From Peace River, Alberta, Campbell was signed by the Winnipeg Jets in 1982. In his time, he played for the Jets and Bruins, among several other minor league clubs in the AHL. He played in 213 NHL games, scoring 9 goals and 27 assists as a defenseman. He totaled 305 penalty minutes as well.

Petr Chytka – Born in Brno, Czech Republic, Chytka played for the University of Alaska Anchorage Seawolves. Chytka moved on to play with the Anchorage Aces and two Czech professional teams, tallying a total of 29 games. This is Chytka’s 2nd POSA Outreach 907 Fund Charity Hockey Game.

Sean Gauthier – “Goats” was born in Sudbury, Ontario and drafted by the Winnipeg Jets in the 1991 draft. Over 14 years, Goats was the backstop for several professional teams, including the NHL, AHL, ECHL, IHL, and Europe. Goats maintained a 90% or better save percentage for most of his career and was the winning in the 1st POSA Outreach 907 Fund Charity Hockey Game.

Cale Hulse – Hailing from Edmonton, Alberta, CA, Hulse was drafted in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft by the New Jersey Devils. Playing defense for the New Jersey Devils, Calgary Flames, Nashville Predators, Phoenix Coyotes, and the Columbus Blue Jackets, Hulse racked up 619 games, 16 goals, 79 assists and over 1,000 penalty minutes. Nick Naumenko – Born in Chicago, Illinois, Naumenko was drafted in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft by the St. Louis Blues as a defenseman. After playing for the UND Fighting Sioux, Naumenko played 14 seasons between the AHL, IHL, Germany and Switzerland. He played in 768 games, scored 116 goals, had 355 assists, and 693 penalty minutes. Steve Potvin – This Montreal, Quebec born winger, Potvin played in 669 AHL, ECHL and Europe contests, accumulating 206 goals, 358 assists and over 1000 penalty minutes (PIM). Before retiring, Potvin played for our own Arizona Sundogs from Prescott.

Craig Reichert – Hailing from Winnipeg, MB, Canada, Reichert was drafted in 1994 by the Anaheim Mighty Ducks as a winger. He played 3 games for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim during the 1996–97 NHL season. He accumulated more than 1400 games in 12 seasons between the NHL, IHL, AHL and in Germany. He tallied over 259 goals, 415 assists, and 680 penalty minutes.

Tim Watters - From Kamloops, BC, Watters was drafted by the Winnipeg Jets in the 1979 NHL Entry Draft, as a defenseman. After playing over 13 seasons between the Jets, Kings, and Phoenix Roadrunners, Watters totaled up 828 games, 31 Goals, 170 assists, and nearly 1400 penalty minutes.
