October 2012 Bulletin 2 School Uniform Policy We are constantly striving to ensure that we maintain our high standards of dress. Thank you to all of those pupils and parents/carers who have supported our uniform rules and are wearing the correct clothing as specified in our uniform policy. The rules are much clearer and simpler for everyone to follow. There are also much tougher sanctions in place for those that do not adhere to the rules. Please take some time to look through the following information to ensure you are clear about the guidelines. If you are unsure, or would like further clarification, please contact the relevant Year Achievement Co-ordinator for your child. Brockington College Uniform – Essential Requirements Trousers These should be smart tailored black trousers not jeans. Trousers must be suitable for a working environment - NO denim, rivets or ‘skinny’ black fashion trousers, leggings or jeans. X Skirts Skirts should be suitable for a working environment - not too short or tight. Skirts should be knee length or longer. X Shoes Shoes should be all black, small heeled or flat. All shoes should be enclosed and suitable for a working environment. Pupils must not wear shoes with logos, coloured patterns, laces or stitching.
