In our region, the typical Balkan cities of oriental origin, structure and outlook were almost totally transformed in the second half of the 20th century. Modern movement brought new models of urban organization, different communication concepts and a variety of concepts of modern buildings. Among others, the idea of complex urbarchitectonic structures in urban tissue spread under specific influences and models. After a short review of modern urban development and the idea of complex urban structures, this paper explores urban transformation of less researched cities such as Priština and Novi Pazar. The focus is on the phenomenon of complex urbarchitectonic structures built in related cities in a short period from 1969-1989. Four complex urbarchitectonic structures will be presented: Kičma and complex in JNA Street in Priština and Lučne buildings and Jezero buildings in Novi Pazar. In addition to the unfolding humanitarian crisis there was growing concern about the environmental and human settlement consequences of the conflict. Conflict The Kosovo Conflict Ð Consequences for the Environment & Human Settlements Force UNEP/UNCHS (Habitat) Balkans Task To address these issues, the Balkans Task Force mobilised an international and independent scientific team to work within Kosovo and at targeted industrial sites in Serbia. Similar teams visited pollution sources along the Danube River, as well as Consequences targets within National Parks and other protected areas. This report presents the findings of the Balkans Task Force. Immediate action is recommended at the Ôhot spotsÕ of environmental concern found in four cities. Conscious of the need for urgent action, the United Nations Environment Programme and the United Nations Centre for Human Settlements have acted to make the facts available as rapidly as possible. The result is a major contribution to for the Environment environmental assessment of modern warfare. Na izučavanom području objekti geonasleđa su evidentirani, interpretirani, vrednovani i kategorisani, dat je predlog promocije geoobjekata, i na kraju predložena dopuna inventara objekata geonasleđa Srbije.

    SANDZAK – A REGION THAT IS CONNECTING OR DIVIDING SERBIA AND MONTENEGRO? Sandzak is a region that is divided among Serbia and Montenegro. Six municipalities are in Serbia (Novi Pazar, Sjenica, Tutin, Prijepolje, Priboj and Nova Varoš) and six in Montenegro (Bijelo Polje, Rožaje, Berane, Pljevlja, Gusinje and Plav). On the basis of the 1991 census the number of the inhabitants of Sandzak included 420.000 people – 278.000 in Serbia and 162.000 in Montenegro, of which 54% are Muslims by ethnicity. Sandzak, which is carrying its name after a Turkish word for a military district, constituted a part of the Bosnian Pashalik within the Ottoman Empire until the year 1878. On the Berlin Congress, which was held at the same year, the great powers decided to leave Sandzak within the framework of the Ottoman Empire, but have allowed Austro- Hungary to deploy their forces in a part of this region. Through an agreement between the kings of Serbia Peter I. Karadjordjevic and of Montenegro Nikola I. Petrovic, but thanks to Russia, Serbia and Montenegro took control over Sandzak in the First Balkan War of 1912. Up to the Balkan Wars in 1912 and 1913, Sandzak represented a separate administrative unit with the administration and cultural center being in Novi Pazar. After the end of the Balkan Wars the process of emigration of the Bosniac population to Turkey continued and through the port of Bar left for Turkey in the period between April and June 1914 some 16.500 Bosniacs from the Montenegrin part of Sandzak and some 40.000 from the Serbian part.

    REŠENJE O USTANOVLJAVANJU RIBARSKIH PODRUČJA ("Sl. glasnik RS", br. 90/2015) 1. Na teritoriji Republike Srbije ustanovljavaju se sledeća ribarska područja: 1) Ribarsko područje "Južna Morava 1" Ribarsko područje "Južna Morava 1" ustanovljava se na ribolovnim vodama vodotoka reka: Binačka Morava, Preševska Moravica, Južna Morava od nastanka do ušća Barbeške reke (kod mesta Zaplanjska Toponica), Pčinja, Dragovištica, Jerma, Veternica, Vlasina, reka Jablanica od administrativne granice između opštine Lebane i grada Leskovca do ušća, reka Nišava od državne granice sa Republikom Bugarskom do granice Parka prirode "Sićevačka klisura" i svih ostalih pritoka navedenih reka i drugih prirodnih ili veštačkih ribolovnih voda koje su u granicama ribarskog područja, osim ribolovnih voda u okviru granica zaštićenih područja. Granica ribarskog područja polazi od tromeđe grada Niša, opštine Svrljig i opštine Bela Palanka i ide administrativnom granicom između ove dve opštine do Svrljiškog Timoka i dalje njegovom levom obalom do izvorišta, zatim severnom administrativnom granicom opštine Pirot do državne granice sa Republikom Bugarskom. Granica dalje ide na jug državnim granicama Republike Bugarske i BJR Makedonije, zatim ka severu zapadnim administrativnim granicama opština Preševo, Bujanovac, grada Vranja i grada Leskovca, nastavlja desnom obalom Puste reke do administrativne granice grada Leskovca, dalje prati severnu administrativnu granicu grada Leskovca i opštine Vlasotince, zapadnu administrativnu granicu opština Babušnica i Bele Palanke, do polazne tačke. Ribarsko područje "Južna Morava" prostire se na teritorijama sledećih jedinica lokalnih samouprava: grad Vranje, grad Leskovac, opština Preševo, opština Bujanovac, opština Trgovište, opština Bosilegrad, opština Surdulica, opština Vladičin Han, opština Crna Trava, opština Vlasotince, opština Babušnica, opština Dimitrovgrad, opština Pirot i opština Bela Palanka. Ribarsko područje "Južna Morava 1" koristi se za rekreativni ribolov.
