Opinion In my opinion, the accompanying financialreport gives a true and fair view of the financial position of the Department for Correctional Services as at 30 June 2018, its financial performance and its cash flows for the then year ended in accordance with the Treasurer's Instructions promulgated under the provisions of the Public Finance and Audit Act 1987 and Australian Accounting Standards. The factors that influence where people live today are more varied. As well as needing access to food, water and shelter, people also choose where to live based on things like access to services (such as hospitals and schools), environmental quality (such as access to clean air and parklands) and safety.
