2019 03 18 14 23 28 Progra NEW ORLEANS, LA MARCH, 23-24, 2019 JUDGES Mason Trueblood was born and raised in Bakersfield, California. His parents were the founders (and current owners) of Civic Dancer Center - the studio where he began his training in the arts. He then attended the University of California Irvine where he received both his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and his Bachelor of Arts in Film & Media Studies. Since then Mason has toured the world with the International revival of the Broadway Musical Bring it On: The Musical and is now currently residing in Los Angeles. Mason has had the opportunity to pursue both film and television, which he has done with great success. He can be seen on such shows as Glee, 2 Broke Girls, Switched at Birth, Girlboss, Best Friend’s Whenever, and Shake it Up! He can also be seen in films such as 1 Chance 2 Dance and Girlfriend’s Day (both on Netflix). Most recently Mason could be seen in Valley Girl (Choreographed by Mandy Moore) and as Fender in NBC’s Hairspray Live!" Glenda Menisa Morales grew up in the studio, loving the competition life! After high school she trained as a dance major until she was offered professional representation at a dance competition. It was then that she decided to finish school as an advertising major and begin her career in the dance industry. Since then she's danced for young artists like Keke Palmer, Ashley Tisdale, and Raven Simone. She's assisted and worked with well known choreographers including Tabitha and Napoleon, Tony G., and Zach Woodley. You could catch her on film, TV, and internet shows alike. From Footloose, to Glee, East Los High, America's Best Dance Crew with Fanny Pak, and posing as Missy Elliot on the Voice! Most recently you may have seen her dancing on FOX’s The Masked Singer!! Richard Elszy A teaching protégé of iconic dance educator, Paula Morgan, Richard also draws knowledge from his time at the University of California Irvine, where he danced for legendary choreographer, Donald McKayle, as a member of his company. Richard has also trained with one of America’s 10 Ballet Masters, Larry Long, dancing with his “Civic Ballet Of Chicago,” and in Philadelphia at “Philadanco.” Richard’s classes at the esteemed Edge Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles are extremely popular. He recently presented choreography at Club Jeté – LA’s Premier Dance Showcase, as well as, a dance concept video featuring Nia Frazier of ‘Dance Moms’ titled “Young Love” and choreographing a dance “Sizzle” Reel for TV star Shanti Lowry of ‘Family Time.’ Richard is also the Director of Technique at, Adage Dance Center. He has created an online presents with “Dance Technique On The Edge” – his own YouTube mini series consisting of technique tip videos. These videos, however, are not the only online tool he has to offer. Richard has become a teaching sensation, offering online Lyrical Dance Classes, which are featured on DancePlug.com and available to dancers around the world. She spent her summers dancing at the LA studios and conventions and was highly sought after by the industry’s top choreographers. Brooke’s choreography can be seen on shows like ”Bones”, “The Goldbergs”, “Chasing Life”, “American Horror Story”, “The New Normal”, “DICE”, “Bosch”, ”Strange Angel”, “The Funny Dance Show”, and “Lucifer”. Hard at work in the dance world, she is also a mother of two children. She continues to teach internationally, giving back to the community that she loves so much. Preston Mui grew up in San Francisco. After training in modern and jazz at the School of the Arts High School, he moved to Hollywood to pursue a career in dance. He graduated from the scholarship program at the Edge Performing Arts Center and began working as a professional dancer.

Toronto, 26 April 2016 – After its resounding success in Lévis and Gatineau-Ottawa, Canada’s biggest multi-style dance competition continues to gather momentum as it heads to Toronto for a spectacular event taking place at the Metro Convention Centre in exactly one year’s time, that is to say from April 28 to 30, 2017. “There’s a large pool of dancers in Ontario, which means there’s a high number of requests to participate in our competitions. As our two events were fully booked, it made perfect sense to turn towards Toronto. As president and owner of The Spirit Consultants (TSC), I would like to personally invite you and your spirit program to attend The Spirit Consultants’ 2016 Summer Cheerleading and Dance Camp at the Riverside Convention Center in Riverside, CA. Last year, TSC’s California camp was one for the record books! With over 850 campers during one week, we had a pretty incredible experience. And because of that camp, we’re now moving forward into the summer of 2016 with two completely separate summer spirit camps! We want to focus on smaller camps so that your squad can get even more one-on-one attention. Our second camp in California of the summer season will be held at the end of July at the Riverside Convention Center in Riverside, CA. For those coaches and advisors that are not familiar with TSC, I’m often asked, “What makes TSC so different from other camp companies?” The answer: TSC’s camp program focuses on safety and education. Because these are our primary concerns, our camps are completely indoors, in air-conditioned hotel ballrooms and convention centers with 10,000+ square feet of carpet bonded foam mats brought in specifically for cheerleader safety. We also have an on-site medical staff of Certified Athletic Trainers and EMTs to help prevent injuries and immediately treat those that might occur.
