Homeland Security has distinct requirements in terms of complexities and challenges as the threats arise on account of various factors such as social structures and inherent inequities; therefore, a different approach would be essential. The session aims to highlight the advancements in technology for homeland security which could be deployed by various internal security forces. In this session, the panellists will highlight numerous challenges for procurement by Internal Security forces, in the areas of policies and regulations, processes, 1230 – 1330 hrs technological advancements and capacity-building.
