In this project an original libretto, the script to a opera, was drafted and translated into Japanese—romaji and full text translations are available. This story combines Japanese culture and history with Western Philosophy, provided by Machiavelli’s The Prince . Themes within the libretto consist of symbolism that represents the changing of the seasons and the changes in government.
