Virtualisointiohjelmistoihin perehdyttiin ohjelmistoke- hittäjien Internet-sivustojen ja asennusohjeiden avulla ja toimeksiantajan ohjeiden mukaan. Testausympäristö luotiin toimeksiantajan toimitiloihin käyttämällä 2X Softwaren muokattua toteutussuunnitelmaa, jossa oli mu- kana virtualisointipalvelin ja 2X Cloud Portal. Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli luoda valmis virtuaaliympäristö, jota loppu- käyttäjät voivat käyttää Internet-selaimen kautta mistä tahansa.
