Inverness Airport (38 miles) and Aberdeen Airport (58 miles) are both easily reached. Inverness itself provides all the facilities expected of a major city. There is a railway station in Elgin. Moray is favoured for its attractive scenery and for its mild coastal climate and low rainfall. There is flat arable farmland along the Moray Firth with spectacular mountains rising to the south. The Royal Findhorn Yacht Club and the fishing harbours along the Moray Firth provide anchorages for yachts.
