[email protected] 1300-22-3882 NO. 10TH ZOLL AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFRIBILLATOR (AED) LAUNCH IN PENANG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT 7th November 2016, Penang – Safetyware Sdn. Bhd. was one of the organizations to sponsor and support the 10th Zoll AED which was launched in Penang International Airport. In order to support the "Penang Heart-Safe" Programme, the Automated External Defribillator (AED) machine was installed in the arrival hall of Penang International Airport. This event was officiated by Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng, while joining him included the State Health Committee Chairman, Dr Afif Bahardin and also Malaysia Airport Operation Manager, Mr Mohammad Suhaimi Mubin. Guan Eng throws support behind Anwar's candidacy MalaysiaKini.com Jan 29, 2014 Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng now says that Pakatan Rakyat is behind Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim contesting in the Kajang by-election. "We do not know what transpired that led to former Kajang assemblyperson Lee Chin Cheh resigning, but after our meeting with Pakatan leaders in Kuala Lumpur yesterday, we agree to Anwar contesting the by-election," he said, in a press conference today. Yesterday, Lim said he had not been officially informed about developments in Selangor PKR, which led to Lee vacating his seat to pave the way for a by-election. The DAP secretary-general said this before rushing to Kuala Lumpur for a meeting. Lim's statement comes after Selangor DAP chief Tony Pua (right) pledged support for Anwar, while PAS Youth in Kajang has warned of a potential boycott of the by-election which must be called within six months. Selangor PKR chief Azmin Ali has said that Lee's resignation was a "tactical move" to build momentum towards the Sarawak election and the 14th general election, which can be called as early as 2016. 'Kept in the dark' Lim continue to maintain that he was kept in the dark until yesterday before the Pakatan meeting. He added that DAP veteran leader Lim Kit Siang had attended the meeting on behalf of the party. "As far as Kajang is concerned, we are still awaiting Anwar's explanation," Lim said, referring to the PKR supremo who is now overseas. However, he stressed that DAP had no problems with Anwar’s candidacy.

Afif’s remarks came following weekly magazine The Heat’s indefinite suspension by the Home Ministry, which denied that the action was related to the paper’s report on Prime Minister Najib Razak’s purported lavish spending. Following the action on The Heat, the Movement of Angry Media (Geramm) will be holding a protest this Saturday to campaign for the suspension to be lifted. On criticisms towards the party which are published in Malaysiakini, Afif said the news portal does not represent PKR so it is up to the people to decide if their coverage is credible or not.

Gerakan yang dipelopori Khalid Jaafar dan sekumpulan aktivis Jalan Telawi dari segi sejarahnya cenderung dengan pemikiran pencerahan dan liberalisme Barat. Artikel ini bertujuan memaparkan kegiatan golongan liberal dalam PKR selepas tercetusnya Reformasi. Di samping itu, kajian ini akan mengemukakan peranan aktor-aktor yang melingkungi intelektual PKR dalam menjayakan projek pendidikan politik.
