Extension of TEQIP-II Project TEQIP-II Coordinator informed the members that as per the email communication received from NPIU on 26 October 2016 TEQIP-II Project has been extended till 31st March 2017. Members has suggested to plan the activities accordingly.

Disbursement Status of Funds TEQIP-II Coordinator informed the members that there has been no disbursement of grants since after previous BOG meeting and hence there is no change in pending grant position of Rs. 128 lakhs. He also informed that an official request for the sanction of TEQIP- II grants was submitted to Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister of Sri Kadiyam Srihari and Finance Minister Sri Etela Rajender on 17 October, 2016 along with the members of other TEQIP-II Institutions. TEQIP-II Coordinator thanked the management for sanctioning a loan amount of Rs.10 Lakhs to clear some of the pending expenditures till March 16. • Member Secretary informed all that GRIET, following the 10 Any other point with the directions of UGC, is endeavoring to implement “Vittiya permission of the chair. Members appreciated the move towards digitization in all financial transactions which is a positive step for the growth and stability of nation’s economy. • Members requested State Finance Member to represent GRIET case for release of TEQIP fund. Members discussed about participation in Skill India Campaign. • They appreciated our role in providing assistance to skill upgradation of Reddy Lab supervisions and also a possible training to police force, which is under discussion. • Based on the feedback analysis, there is a need for students undergoing internships and projects to through academic alliance. Members appreciated on feedback prolensess received from various stakeholders. Continuous monitoring of feedback system and frequent reviews was suggested.
