    Biomatematický model BMM: Tour de France - 11. etapa Na programu jubilejní 100 Tour de France chyběl klasický prolog a tak jsme vhodnou trať pro BMM museli počkat až do 11. etapy, kdy přišla na řadu první individuální časovka. Náročnost 33km dlouhé trati notně zvyšoval silný vítr, se kterým se všichni závodníci potýkali. Hned v úvodu nasadil nepřekonatelnou laťku favorizovaný Tony Martin (Omega Pharma-Quick step), se kterým vyrovnanou partii sehrál jen žlutý Chris Froome (Sky Procycling), výrazně tím navyšující své celkové vedení. Mezi ostatními jezdci top 10 to byla vyrovnaná bitva. Roman Kreuziger (Team Saxo-Tinkoff) zajel výborně a udržel celkové 5. místo a samozřejmě velmi emotivním zážitkem pro všechny byla ostrá jízda paralympika Jirky Ježka v roli oficiálního předjezdce. Jak se mezi špalíry diváků dařilo na trati jezdcům v programu BMM? Vítr nám dal zabrat, co? Ředitel závodu J.F. Pescheux (3x účast na Tour, 27x organizátor) před zahájením letošního ročníku odhadoval, že právě zde dojde k doladění výsledného pořadí a pro jezdce z popředí to bude poslední příležitost pro útok na vyšší posty. Po téměř třech týdnech závodění mohli být pořadatelé skutečně spokojeni, protože díky malým rozestupům jezdců na čele trvalo drama až do posledních metrů... Cérilly, administrativní centrum kantonu s 1568 obyvateli hostilo Tour poprvé. Z městečka s bohatou minulostí, sahající až do 11 století, pocházelo mnoho slavných rodáků. V současnosti je známé především kvůli potravinářskému a dřevařskému průmyslu. Z vysoce kvalitních zdejších dubů vznikají sudy pro nejlepší Cognac a vína (Bordeaux). Historie cílového města Saint Amand Montrond sahá až do románských dob. The Italian perennial fast-finisher Daniele Bennati has joined compatriots Davide Viganò and neopro Giacomo Nizzolo as well as Portugese strongman Bruno Pires in signing with the new team out of Luxembourg. Happy to be able to include a top flight sprinter among their ranks, the v Luxembourg Pro Cycling Project sees Bennati as the type of rider who will be able to help the team hit the ground running from the beginning of the season. “Bennati is such a classy rider and we are very happy to have him,” General Manager Brian Nygaard explained. “He is really passionate about our project and I’m sure he’ll be a significant addition to our line-up. He has won many impressive victories, but I actually don’t think we have seen his best yet. I see him flourishing in the right environment and I believe we can provide that for him.” Bennati was one of the first riders to show an interest in the new team, and wants to have an immediate impact in 2011. “My objectives for the coming season are to get off to a good start from the first and try to make the most of Tirreno-Adriatico in order to be supremely prepared for the Milan San Remo,” Bennati explained.
