We’re often asked about our storage and shipping of wines, to what is after all a desert country, as you naturally want to be assured that you are getting the wines in the condition the winemakers intended. Wine is a precious and sensitive product. Our winery partners work hard all year in the vineyards and wineries around the world to make good wines and that work can easily be spoilt by careless transportation - saving on shipping costs doesn’t sit well with us. We’re happy to let you know that MMI ship all our wines in refrigerated containers all year round and insist that our freight partners sign up to such cool- chain essentials. This is a considerable and significant addition to normal freight costs but this commitment to quality assurance combined with our own modern temperature-controlled warehousing facilities gives us the peace-of-mind that we’re meeting your demands when it comes to wine quality.
