Disclaimer Each donor is encouraged to independently review information about the charities they select. The Victim Compensation and Government Claims Board (VCGCB) has found these charities eligible to receive designated deductions based on certifications that the charities comply with statutory requirements. The Board does not independently investigate the charities other than to verify their Federal Tax exempt status and review their self-certifications of compliance with applicable California Department of Fair Employment and Housing Regulations. The Board’s determination is not an endorsement of any particular charity. If you have any questions regarding this matter, please reference the name of your PCFD, when you call or write. H California State Employees Charitable Campaign (CSECC) H The California State Employees Charitable Campaign (CSECC) was established in 1957 to provide a single charitable fundraising event throughout the state. During the fall, State employees are given an opportunity to participate in the campaign and are provided a payroll deduction pledge form as well as access to a Donor Resource Guide, which lists the participating charitable organizations. The California Victim Compensation and Government Claims Board (VCGCB) screens these nonprofits to ensure their eligibility, but does not endorse them in any way.
