    Danish 1:24 Retro Formula 1 GRAND PRIX SATURDAY OCTOBER 26th For the 3rd consecutive time the slot racing club MMRK invites you to the only event in Denmark completely devoted to 1:24 Retro Formula 1 cars. After a tremendous success in 2011 and in 2012 this day will have the mark „RETRO F1“ all over it with racing, movies, games and people chatting in a friendly atmosphere at the „No. 13 Bar“ while the cars are wearing out the plastic surface on MMRK’s eminent Carrera-track! RULES Rules are DMRU’s General Rules (only in Danish), DMRU’s Technical Rules for 1:24 Retro Formula 1 (attached in English version) as well as DMRU’s Racing Rules (only in Danish) (see www.dmru.dk) except for the following. There will be a time trial qualification which will award the 5 fastest drivers (5,4,3,2,1 points). There will be 3 rounds of heats (4x4 min.) awarding each driver points as follows 40,38,36, 34,33,32 etc in every round. The 2 best rounds (points) added plus points from the qualification determins the winner. If a tie the result from the remaining round will be taken into account. ENTRY FEE DKK 225,- which covers, entry fee, T-shirt (remember to inform size), fee coffee all day, breakfast (white bread, butter, jam, cheese etc.), hot meal or cold buffet. December and another year draws to a close – where does the time go? Next year the EODC will celebrate 60 years of Elfin Sports Cars from 1959 to 2019. It is good to see so many Elfins out and about - either on display or competing in events (large and small) on tracks and hill climbs around the country and overseas. Speaking of overseas, th BILL HEMMING competed in the 50 anniversary of F5000 at Monterey meeting, STEVE WELLER took out the Jim Clark trophy for Historic F2’s in his 600B and, in England, WILL WALKER competed at Chateau Impney Hill Climb in his Elfin 300 this year. A number of Elfins are in various stages of restoration or have been restored. The recently restored Elfin 400 of MARK GOLDSMITH made its debut at the Adelaide Motorsport Festival – 40 years after its last race (Oct 1978). This car was originally the Globe Products 400 driven by NOEL HURD. I remember this car/driver combination back in the day. In September, Elfin driver JOHN MCORMACK was honoured at the 2018 Baskerville Historics with some of his cars – including the Charger, XJS Jag, Toyota Celica Repco V8 (McCormack was responsible for its construction) and, of course his Elfin MR5 F5000.

    © Unknown La Stagione 1969 è entrata negli annali della Formula Uno come l’anno di Ja- ckie Stewart, della Matra-Ford MS 80 e di Ken Tyrrell, inglese, ex pilota e pro- prietario di una squadra che utilizza un telaio della Casa aero-spaziale francese Matra, progettato da Bernard Boyer, sul quale è stato montato il motore più competitivo: il V8 Ford-Cosworth. Dopo i modelli MS9, MS10 e MS11, nel 1969 la Matra presentò la quarta monoposto di Formula 1, la MS80. Il propulsore l dominio messo in mostra dal Gran Premio di casa. Ma ci sono Ford Cosworth DFV di 3000cc, erogava circa 420 CV (313 I Campione scozzese, ritenuto state anche interessanti novità tec- kW). Nella Stagione 1969 la MS80 porta Jackie Stewart alla l’erede di Clark, è assoluto: sei niche destinate a dare una svolta al vittoria del Titolo Piloti. La vettura era stata costruita presso la sede della Matra, a Vélizy-Villacoublay, a sud-ovest della vittorie, un secondo e un quarto futuro della Formula Uno, quali la periferia di Parigi. La direzione del progetto MS80 fu affidata a posto su undici appuntamenti iri- trazione integrale (vedi nota alla Gérard Ducarouge e Bernard Boyer. F1 LEGENDS RACING 2.0 (F1LR2) is a completely overhauled F1 LEGENDS RACING 1.0 (F1LR) mod content. Its about same car type list basicaly, but there is not the common car body shape anymore. All our original F1LR cars got new body, engine and all the other related part styles. The original F1LR physics has been revised and each car type got a new real based F1 1967 engine sound set. Therefore the F1LR2 is meant like a mod updated to 2.0 version series. The reason, why the F1LR2 cars still are imaginary car manufacturers and driver names, is the car models arent created accurately according to the real historic cars. The car types / manufacturers are easy recognisable what for physics will be used, also every F1LR car manufacturer slot is trying to keep the ground of real 1967 F1 race team colors.
