(US) & Trash Talk (US) till Debaser Slussen och klubben Lost Sound 14/6 Om nu 2012 verkligen är apokalypsens år så har OFF! och Trash Talk bestämt sig för att avsluta det hela sparkande och/eller skrikande. Bevisligen både och. Det kan inte bli mycket hårdare än så här på Slussen i sommar. Ni känner till herrarna i OFF! sedan tidigare. Keith Morris (Black Flag, Circle Jerks), Dimitri Coats (Burning Brides), Steven McDonald (Redd Kross) och Mario Rubalcaba (Hot Snakes/Earthless/Rocket From The Crypt). De är kraften och andan i L.A-punken, nu återupplivad och med ny energi. Bandet släppte sin debut-sjua, "1st EP", i oktober 2010. Tre stycken till skulle följa, alla samlade i "First Four EPs". Pitchfork, NPR, The L.A. Times, etc var snabba med lovorden och följdes av spelningar på prestigefulla Coachella Music Festival och turnéer i USA, Europa och Australien. I maj släpper de sitt första riktiga album. Betitlat "OFF!" spelades plattan in skitsnabbt, som sig bör, precis i det tempo som OFF! hanterar bäst. Producerad av Dimitri Coats på Lingsize Soundlab i L.A, klockar plattan in på strax under 16 minuter, varje låt mer förbannad än den förra. Det låter som '78 och smakar som äkta vara. Trash Talk Sedan 2005 har Sacramentobandet Trash Talk knutit nävarna och vevat åt världen. Bildade i modern tid har de lyckats frammana minnen av genrens storhetstid då publiken krävde en aggressiv liveshow värd musiken och ett band som klarade av att leverera. Trash Talk är ett sådant band. Med en scennärvaro fast rotad i kaos, en arsenal av släpp att backa upp det med och frekvent turnerande förvånar de kontinuerligt såväl fans som nya lyssnare. De har ständigt slagit sig framåt och uppåt och tänjt på gränserna. Det finns inget stopp på denna punk/hardcore-ångvält.
